Lilly Is NOT Returning.

edited February 2014 in The Walking Dead

As much as it pains me, Nicki Rapp, Lilly's voice actress, has confirmed that Lilly will NOT be returning for the second season.

  • Voice actors are legally required not to say anything about this stuff so I wouldnt trust that very much.

  • Nice catch Konochan. Well done.

  • She could have ignored the comment, though.

  • Voice actress or not, she would be far to dangerous to be let back into a group, she went off like a crock pot and shot the first person who pissed her off enough.

  • I'm not part of Lily's fan club, but it would have been cool to interact with her from Clementine's perspective.

  • Then she would say "I can't tell" or "maybe" or not even reply at all.

That's a huge shame I'd love to get a proper closure on Lilly...

Ouch. Dat Kenny hate in the comments.

Also, it doesn't mean Lily's not going to be in Season 2... it just means she's not going to be in Episode 2. She could return at some other point and then they'll inform the v/a and get her to do voice work.

  • Looks like Season 2 is doomed.

  • I loved Lilly and suproted MOST of the times, SO even if she doesn't re-appear I still believe she is alive somewhere with her new group being the new leader of them ;)

Plot twist: Lilly is Steve, the leader of Russell's old group.

We gonna kill these folks and take all their stuff or what?!

    She could want redemption

  • That's a shame. Would have been fun interacting with her again as Clem. I do wonder how she would have reacted to an 11 year old Clem looking her straight in the eyes and saying in a calm, even voice "You killed Carley."

  • I would've liked to see her meet up with Clem at some point as well. Of the season one survivors I thought she had some real potential for a continuing story arc.

Nothing set in stone I suppose.

  • Exactly! Unlike Kenny she hasn't had a chance to really redeem herself to those who dislike her.

  • Then its molly and kenny

with kenny202, i'm pretty sure he will get a higher odd to appear

  • Shame. I was kind of hoping Carver would turn out to be Lily in a "holy s***"-style twist.

  • I doubt she would in the stories of people similar to mine. Didn't hesitate to kick her out of the group, said she deserved it to the stranger, sided against her on almost everything.

That being said, it would be cool to see her again in S2.

  • Well... no, not at all. Season 1 didn't suffer from Lilly not being in the second half, so why would S2 suffer from Lilly not being in it?

  • I don't understand why everyone is saying Lily was great. She was a bitch. Pardon my French. I was happy to leave her on the side of the road. Yeah it'd be interesting to see her again but it's not like I'd be sad if she wasn't. Also if she did show up it would be predictable.

  • Kenny can go suck a dick and die. The only reason people like him is because his fans have no friends in real life and they think of him as their virtual BFF. Lilly was one of my favorite characters back in Season 1 and it will be a huge mistake if she's not back at some point.

I'm so offended, I just went to Walmart to buy "offendissues", tissues for tears when someone offends you. Please make this comment go away, I can't bear not having a single real friend in the world except for Kenny.

  • they refer to carver as "he" . so its not lilly

Exactly why I like the branching characters :3 That she could come as a douche or a shell wanting redemption

  • While that gif is pretty great, isn't it in exactly the wrong place?

  • Voice actor's can't tell us things like this, only Telltale can. Unless it comes out of the unified voice of Telltale, this isn't reliable.

  • This gif fucks with my eyes.

  • Epileptic seizure confirmed for Season 2.

  • Unless...

Telltale might just be fucking with us. I just mean while it is more likely for Kenny to appear, Lilly could appear instead so Telltale could shock us after all this hype for Kenny.

  • Indeed, season 2 is doomed...to be AWESOME!

  • She was if you weren't against her, like Kenny. Both open up if you're good to them. It won't be too predictable, it could be Kenny, Lilly, Molly, Christa

  • They're legally required to be vague actually. Gavin Hammon has never said yes or no when asked.

Voice actors are legally required not to say anything about this stuff so I wouldnt trust that very much.

  • Can you cite a specific moment when any of the characters refer to Carver as a "he?"

That quote is ironic, considering the kind of guy who writes stuff along those lines tends to look a lot like this:

  • Pete does while they are talking about Clementine in the kitchen

Can you cite a specific moment when any of the characters refer to Carver as a "he?"

  • Shouldn't Lilly be locked in a prison surrounded by a herd of walkers, what, two years after the last time we saw her in the game?

  • Comic Lilly and Game Lilly are different characters now, due to a retcon by Kirkman and his Road to Woodbury novel.

  • but didn't Lilly say in season one she didn't trust anyone after the meds were taken so why would she go with those guys??? it's pretty reasonable.

  • Whhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!?
