My guess is that they are working right now on bug fixes, finishing touches, maybe adding some scenes here and there, and basically polishing the game. They can't really release the trailer without the game being complete.

Well, I'm sure they can, but if they try to record scenes of the game and there's this fat-ass glitch, it wouldn't look good. It would be better to make sure the game is glitch/bug free before deciding the scenes for the trailer.

I beg to disagree. If you can remember there's always a teaser after each episode.. And sometimes, some scenes are not in the actual game so, they can give us the trailer without them finishing the game.

Technically they can, its a trailer, movies do it all the time, they also do it with previews. So they can if they want to.
