It would never be gone... it just morphs into even better things. Like a full on ZZ Top or a Fu Manchu long enough to double as a scarf in the winter. Removing it completely would be world breaking.
Yes i agree on that. But Clem will make him remember the man he once used to be and we will soon see the Redneck again, we used to know and love.
Hell i might even go that far and say he lost his Godlike Stache over the 2years that passed!
If it is Kenny I don't even really know how to treat him exactly. In my playthrough he was a pretty broken person with all the loss he had. And now with not only the loss of his family but also his whole old group including Lee, I don't know... if this game would be real Kenny would be a wreck by now. What exact reason would there be for him to live for? Well that could be the role Clem could be playing as the only one left from the old group, but it still would feel weird to me somehow. I guess I will just have to wait and play it to see what happens.
Actually, Kenny's situation was better, if you think about it. Victor was shot, possibly multiple times, and unable to move as the walkers arr… moreived at the stream. Kenny, however, was able to move and was uninjured when he was last seen. His situation still wasn't good by any stretch of the imagination, but Victor was at Death's Door.
Lose faith in Telltale? Over a character coming back? Thing is, if it is NOT Kenny chances are they will have MORE people lose faith in them. There's no satisfying everyone.
They've teased even before the Season came out his fate would be explored. And the fact he vanished and didn't SEE him die obviously implies that they intended to bring him back eventually.
Yes, it's probably predictable. But a majority of fans want him back, myself included (though not as desperately as some people here). But to lose faith in Telltale because they brought him back? That's being a bit childish.
Ever since Telltale's statement about how "Kenny's fate will be explored" I was sure he's going to come back, much to my dismay - not because of anything personal, although I did hate him but I don't want to turn this into a hater rant.
The ending he gets if Ben is dead heavily indicates that he's bitten - he growls and also his last words sound like he's struggling to talk. He is at least grabbed by the walkers, and how is he supposed to be able to fight them off in a dark pit with no ammo (he only had 1 bullet which he fired right in the beginning iirc, and 2 bullets in his other ending)? I just find it really hard to believe that he could get out of there in one piece, unless he suddenly gained superhuman strength through an adrenaline rush or someone helped him, both being highly unlikely.
However, I did notice something that might hint that it's not actually Kenny. When Clem says "I thought you were dead" her facial expression is full of shock and disbelief. I would think that if Kenny was right in front of her, her initial reaction would be somewhat warmer than that.
Well, most everyone else was shot at that riverbank. He's far more likely to have been shot than he is to have tripped and sprained his ankle. Even on the off chance he wasn't shot, there's no way he was moving on his own anytime soon. And since the river is swarmed with zombies immediately after giving him water, only an act of God could have saved him.
I highly agree, I dont think Kenny will come back just yet. If Kenny rejoins the story I think it should be unexpected when Clem needs someone to save her the most. It would make Kenny's character more epic.
The only reason he was so adament about finding a boat is because his family died during the journey to find a boat, he feels that he's obligated to find a boat so his family didn't die for nothing. He's so focused on the boat because he wanted to keep his mind off that the fact that he lost his family in the span of five minutes. I'm sure had the mission succeeded and they all got on the boat safe and sound, Kenny would've surely fallen into a real state of depression.
Now that he's lost probably the only boat in Savannah, he's probably done with that pipe dream and is now focused purely on surviving. You can't honestly have missed that section after you escape from the house in episode 5 where Kenny finally talks about Katja's death.
Well, he wouldn't be looking for a boat on those mountains either. And the mountains were cabin groups current destination. You really don't know anything about the man beyond his moustache. He'll be looking for a boat to get to the sea.
It's not a minority. Even dudes who casually play this game that I know in real life are pretty sure that Kenny is alive. Several let's players are quite sure that Kenny is alive. Since Telltale confirmed that Kenny's fate would be explored last year, the amount of people who think he's alive is quite high, and now it's pretty much the major opinion on the forum that he's alive.
It's an assumption, based on the statistics on who went for Lilly instead of Kenny. Last time I checked, majority still tried to resuscitate Larry. That was the major hit in the game on the friendship between Lee and Kenny. It's reasonable to assume that majority of those players aren't big Kenny-devotees.
...
You can't say people not on this forum are ardent Kenny fans either. Being most vocal, doesn't mean being most numerous.

And one more thing ur basing it off of that one decision when u could eventually make amends for that
That doesn't mean they are (not trying to say that) but u can't really base it off that one decision
Can't be proven. There are vocal people shouting him being alive, when Telltale has only announced one thing: "Kenny's fate will be explored" and some people are very quick jumping into the conclusion and express it often in these forums. Doesn't make them a majority.

So ironically you're actually the vocal minority.
If you mean by amends, the stats also indicate most players took fighting Kenny instead of talking him down and trying to bust his skull instead of calmly arguing.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. He was pretty adamant of getting the boat and didn't exactly fall in line with Christas suggestion of heading to the countryside. He's a commercial fisherman too, so it wouldn't be too big of a leap to assume he might be looking for another vessel.
Talks about taking a minute in the hospital rooftop, about how Lilly came between Lee and Kenny, don't recall him mentioning anything about Lee and Clementine being his family specificly. If thats what you mean? He only agreed to "get that little girl" but after that, all bets are off. We don't know his plans. You don't. I don't. We can only make assumptions. Hell, I even checked another vid and can't find the scene this fellow above describes, so I naturally assume it only happens in a playthrough where Lee sides with Kenny.
...
Don't get me wrong, I like Kennys character with all his flaws and quirks. I'm honestly just worried that bringing him back alive and well from a situation like that (confined spaces, full of walkers with few-to-no ammo) will render him boring fan-service-character.

Mind you, there are lot of different opinions on whom might it be and Kenny is just one of them. I wouldn't be bold enough to claim him getting support of 50% of ALL the players. :P
EDIT: Especially when gameplay statistics say players didn't quite side with him.
What? Like Pro-Kenny 50% and Everyone-Else 50%?

Y'all are crazy. It's obvious Clem is talking about Sandra, her babysitter (turns out that walker in her house was just some girl that wandered in). I don't have any imaginary euros to bet... anyone accept imaginary donuts? I can make tons of those.
But seriously, if it's Kenny, I will be very disappointed. I like Kenny a lot, but he's done. He lost everything dear to him in a tragic way. Let the man have his peace in his redemption and sacrifice.
But this does leave me in a quandry. Who would Clem expect to be dead... and respond with fear/horror/uneasiness upon learning that they are alive? Who would fit that bill?
Could it be Vernon? Doubtful. He was heavily implied to be dead in 400 Days, which Clem was not a part of. She wouldn't have a reasonable way to make that kind of determination regarding Vernon. Plus, Clem never knew him as a bad person, so why the long face?
Or Lily? She either leaves us with a vehicle, or is seen making a mad dash away from an approaching group of walkers. There's a chance for her to survive, but it's still highly possible for her to be dead. An 8 year old may mistakenly assume that to be the case. The final act Clem saw from Lily was a grief induced murder of a friend. That would cause some horror/disgust, no?
Dude our imaginary bet money is no more imaginary than national debt, or the whole banking system for that matter. Difference is, if it is the water guy, I'll pay my imaginary debts without running to the government for a handout.
Ok the guy in the river that Clem can give or not water was mostly dead in my oppinion, a little bit of water given to him (if you choose too)… more was being polite to a guy that was almost dead, in my case I just gave him water to see if he could live a couple more minutes to tell me where Christa was but I digress...
I think it's Kenny because of all the fuzz about his destiny and what not, so I'm raising the bets too 100 imaginary euros that it's not the river guy. since I'm really rich in my imaginary world and can spend a miserabel 100 euros in a bet :P

Also he doesn't get bit in the alley scene if you don't argue, Lee climbs the stairs and you can clearly see Kenny running away. It looks like he gets bit if you argue with him in the alley and make him push you behind the gate. In the building with Christa there's no way to tell what the fuck happened, it was nearly all off screen.
Every other major character has been shown killed explicitly except Kenny and Lilly. Oh and Molly, but she was never really part of the group for her own reasons.

Kenny is back whether you like him or not.
We don't know if Victor was shot.
All we know is that he's quite hurt and wants water.
It's obvious who it is
Why else would they tell us we need 400 days?

Yeah and u can't say it's in the minority as if it's a fact I'm pretty sure there more people who are vocal but not members of the forum

Yea and last time I checked they both apologized to each other for it regardless of whether u lost your temper for it
Yea but you can't say it makes them a minority either like I said it's more 50/50

I was only pointing that out, not putting words in your mouth. Sorry if you misunderstood it, I'll try to phrase my opinion better in the future.
That they did, but it indicates that when given a choice, most players didn't side with Kenny on most times. For whatever reason.
