This scenario could happen

At some point , Telltale could make the ' I thought you were dead " person appear only in eposide 2 if it was Kenny .

Remember that telltale stated before that Kenny's fate will be explored in season 2 , so they might tell us that he's only alive , but he won't be appearing expect in eposide 2 .
