Just to update everyone here. I couldn't take it anymore and have as such filed a refund request now itself with Steam support. Ticket volume is high and my previous ticket from this past Monday hasn't been answered, so I will probably get a reply only in 2 weeks time.
When I do though, I hope to share the outcome with everyone here. About time we took our destiny into our own hands.

Thank you for you concern. I was not aware making an episodic adventure game gave you a license to get away scot-free whenever you miss deadlines promised to fans and then bother not to explain what the hold up is all about.
Quote from Steam: "The Season Pass gives you access to all five episodes as they become available (Episode 1 Available Now, Episodes 2-5 will be released periodically in 2014)"

Telltale never promised a deadline.

I'm guessing making money from this kind of "legal issues" allways comes down to where you live, your lawyer, the judges, and whatever proof you have...
I guess Telltale won't have to pay nothing to no one unless you went to court with a mental breakdown or somehting because the game wasn't release in the time the company said :P
Very smart post, don't worry about the down votes man, they mean nothing. I think I could try this, I am beyond annoyed by Telltale's lack to post any update or even release episode two. TWAU is nowhere as near popular as TWD yet they still work on that game.
this thread needs to 'get a life'.............but don't quote me on that as i may be legally binding 'dissing' u,LMAO i don't care if it's 6 w… moreeeks away,or 12 weeks,or 45 weeks,it will be fine,OP they are classed as 'guidelines' look it up in ur law book
"Episodes are **usually **available to download between 4 and 6 weeks apart."
Where did they promised the episodes will be released at a specific date? On all the platforms they only said that episode 2-5 will be released in 2014.
If you can't wait a couple of months for a cheap quality game i hope you get a refund. As i said. Episodic adventure games are not for everyone. In the 80's and 90's when i first played this kind of games i had to wait years between chapters just for a couple of hours of gameplay.
Are you for real? Are you for real, seriously?
That is the OFFICIAL TELLTALE GAMES FAQ for TWD S2. http://www.telltalegames.com/walkingdead… more/season2-faq/
The mod FAQ is something else altogether. One of the mods here confirmed it and cleared it up for confused souls like you.
"See above. There are unofficial FAQs, with the thread title "unofficial FAQ", in this forum.
And there's an official FAQ on the TWaU/TWD websites."
Taken from Page 2 of this thread.
As I keep telling you, you do realize that the question from the FAQ you keep mentioning was meant to explain the "Rules of Thumb" of how Telltale's episodic games work as opposed to acting as a "legally binding" guarantee, right?
As I said elsewhere...
Just doing a quick Google search even shows that something is only "legally binding" if there is a written agreement that two parties agree to and sign.
As far as I know, FAQs are just meant to give people a "rule of thumb" summary of information.

There is a difference between stating your opinion and consistent bitching.
The first I am fine with.
The second, as is the case with you, I find rather annoying.
You're like a child crying because your toy doesn't have flashing lights... when it was never said to have flashing lights. The kind of kid who needs a good ole fashion butt smakin'.
TT is still on time if you go by business weeks and cut out the holiday weeks. Also those 4-6 week statements were ball-parked and stated via twitter or blog update and not listed on the description of any source of purchase. Legally TT owes you nothing as long as the product is released. Please calm down TT staff is working on it and its coming "super soon" if that fits into your legal parameters unless you want to look up the latin root of Super and soon which still comes out as a general unspecified time.

Strait from the FAQ
"(13) Are there concrete release dates for the season two episodes?
*Absolutely not!! While Telltale doesn't start each new episode 'from scratch', large parts of the development cycle still take place during these release months. From writing to animation to voice acting to possible gamer input from the forums, it all comes together to form a new episode only weeks and days before release; and eventually, another time frame insecurity is added when console manufacturers receive the final build of the episodes for their quality assurance process."

I'm closing this as this thread has run its course, and its degraded into nothing but attacks and arguing back and forth. Please be civil to each other, everyone has the right to an opinion on both sides. Respect is the first rule of the forum guidelines.

I WANT MY MONEY NOW !!
I guess episodic adventure games are not for you. Hope you get a refund.

FAQ: There are five episodes in each season. Episodes are usually available to download between 4 and 6 weeks apart.

Look up grammar in your English book.

I truely hope you get a refund. So you can stop bitching.
we get our money back then what happens? we pay for the episode when it comes out?
No, you just play other non-episodic games. There are 9999+ games out there...
laws don't apply to the internet.
You want your money back as a statement of intent. What you do next is up to you (whether you decide to forget about the game or repurchase it).
if i get my money back do i own the game then still
Of course not. It will be removed from your library. But you still make your point heard, and can always repurchase the game after a while.
what the fuck man i want the game for free and my money back !!!
Save that for the judge.
I want free lapdance Thursdays.
And I want david beckham but we can't have everything we want
What a nice view you have towards people with validly different opinion to yours.

It's in the official FAQ. And I don't give two shots if they took off for the holidays or not for it doesn't concern me.

Indeed it would.
Two posts stating my opinion (now 3, sort of) is not bitching, yet.
