With these sort of developments, I find it helps to have your own officially designated "breaking point". Mine is Feb. 25th. If that date come… mores and goes with nary a tangible piece of news in sight (or, heaven forbid, the release of the actual episode), that's when I "go Nate" on every last apologist and brown-noser who accuses me of being an ungrateful whiner.
February 2 "Just around the corner"
February 4 "Just finished a playthrough of episode 2" -Puzzlebox
February 16 "Played episode 2, you'… morell be playing super soon" -Jobstauffer
They either lied to us or this telltalemike guy screwed up or something.
Why, I think we have one of the aforementioned apologists among us.
You'd better buckle up, because things are about to get REALLY unpleasant for you around here.
"... this is one of those occasions where several things conspired against us... I won't dive into the details, but this has been an unusual and specific set of circumstances and we do not anticipate it happening again as we go forward with the rest of the season."
Wait, let me guess:

Right, Telltale?
Well, I doubt you would be actually aloud to give news. Staff members probably can't give much information, or I bet we would get a lot more info more often.
I wish Telltale games would fire their lazy PR department already and hire me in. I would have given you people some appropriate news instead of this...things...stuff...
In development? You mean that they haven't even began getting the episode checking process for the consoles ready for release which is assumed to take a couple of weeks as it is?

Uh oh.
Well yes you are probaply right, but if they aren't allowed to give us any infos untill they know some exact dates/informations they should stop geting our hopes up with this little threads they are doing. Because people like me ( and many others here obviously) are geting dissapointed.

Again, as I said earlier...
Telltale usually works on an episode pretty close to release to add final/finishing touches.
I wouldn't take this as an implication the episode is far from finished.

Just more ways social media like twitter is ruining the world. Let's all plan for a massive telltale boycott soon shall we?
I doubt our mighty PR specialists will even read this.
So that's the "news" we were all supposed to look out for this week?
Or they will, and not feel obligated to give us any news whatsoever
That plan is reliant on us not being hopelessly addicted to Telltale's stories, so no, that's not going to work.
then you're a dick
if you "go Nate" at all you're a dick
Yeah my gut says Mike is not making an accurate statement. They wouldn't let their PR dudes say that if the game wasn't finished.
What Telltale basically did to me after they took my money.
That's the million dollar question, my friend.
Well, with all this crap going on, I wouldn't blame him. So leave the guy alone.

Haha, I needed a laugh. Thanks for that.
lmao is that from a movie or something?
hm? not really, I only come to this site to check for news of episode 2, post some lame ass comments and then leave
Wait, let me guess:
Right, Telltale?
I'm glad I can someone laugh through these dark times.
Well, laughing keeps you sane. Without it, I would have gone on a rampage by now.
Sounds to me as if its happening again...
No idea, I just found it.
Ayy, dares mah meme!
Addicted? I'm not really addicted to it anymore. I just want my moneys worth.

Okay-Okay... I"m done.

Is this a joke? We paid for this game and they don't even give out proper updates, seriously..?
Well yes you are probaply right, but if they aren't allowed to give us any infos untill they know some exact dates/informations they should stop geting our hopes up with this little threads they are doing. Because people like me ( and many others here obviously) are geting dissapointed.
stop confusing us with your top secret telltale language that only tt employees understand!!!
Sir, please! Put down the blade.......
I hear ya on that bro. I'm quite interested in the Borderlands series, but if this keeps up, I sure as hell wont be buying it.
