As with all of our episodes, we always try make sure the content lands across all platforms as close together as possible so that all fans can join in the discussion at around the same time.

Depending on how early that is, what we play might not have all the final voice, choreography, sound, music etc, but it's definitely playable. It's not unusual for Job and I to play an episode a few times each before it's ready for release (and then of course we'll play the release version too). Sometimes we get excited enough to tweet about it, and usually when that's happening, you'll know that the episode isn't too far off.
That said, our team also works on an episode until super close to when it comes out, which means that yes, the episode is still "in development". We're still hoping to have more news later this week, so keep a look out for that! It'll be on the blog, Facebook, and Twitter. This helped some. Thanks for explaining. I am sure that we will get the game next week or so. I honestly don't mind waiting a bit longer. A lot of my friends are also mighty pissed at this being done by TTG and have either opted to wait til the season is finished for TWD/TWAU, or just watching an LP of it instead and not picking it up again.
I also know a lot of folks in general won't even buy the games and will watch an LP on YouTube also, and I try and convince them to BUY the product ....

Sorry man but in life you're supposed to never settle down with mediocrity. If they didn't LEAD us to believe the episode was completed or close to completion 16 days ago then i woulnd't be complaining.

It's something at least, and I'm doing my damndest to be grateful. As I said, I'm willing to hold out until the 25th. Once we're past that date, any further explanations and justifications for delays will fall on deaf ears.
I never like throwing down the gauntlet like this, but after the SMOKE & MIRRORS fiasco, some lines have to be drawn.

This is getting close to the longest wait IF NOT the longest wait for an episode we have ever had, and we have gotten nothing but ridiculous cryptic messages that purposefully lead us to believe that the episode is almost done. We deserve more news. A rough date at least, not an exact one. A week, or a month of release. I definitely won't be buying game of thrones or borderlands if this will be how you guys communicate with your fanbase; a long wait with next to news.
