This is starting to get ridiculous, maybe TTG found a game breaking bug and have to go digging through all the code to try and find it. Or possibly the episode itself is 'PLAYABLE' but it hasn't had any/most of the music, dialogue and scenery added (look at the S1 EP3 preview at the end of EP2, Macon looks barron as all hell). Who knows? I guess only time will tell...
"Everyone everything will be okay. Please stay patient and calm your Staches.
Telltale probaply just has alot of things to do...things...and stuff..."
To be honest, I'm not even that bothered anymore. I'm used to Telltale's approach to gaming since enduring the long wait and delays when season 1 was in the works. When episode 2 comes out I will buy it and download it then since I chose not to get a season pass this time around.
I check this forum every now and a again out of curiosity to see if the telltale team have given any official updates so I know when to go onto psn.
I admire you're optimism though. I mean the key word is probably, which means you're just as much in the dark as the rest of us about what Telltale are doing. I can tell you for a fact that the reason Telltale are so vague and communicate less about the developments of the game this season compared to the updates they gave last season is because they don't want to have to retract or apologies for anything. They don't want to give official dates that they can't definitely keep to that will cause further uproar. The reason people went nuts and lost their minds during season 1 is because they originally stated that the episodes would be monthly then had to change the advertisements, then there was the numerous delays, where one team was blaming another for problems with certification and all that bollocks.
My advise to anyone that is feeling impatient waiting for episode 2 would not be to give them force hope that everything is o.k, the fact that the game is delayed is proof that everything is not o.k. My advice to people would be to play something else whilst waiting for a house divide, say like, TLOU dlc left behind and for those that don't own a ps3 go out and buy one, download left behind because it's awesome.
A house divided will most likely be released after February because they haven't even began the certification process and if last season was anything to go buy that is usually the main cause of delay.

" Well at least we know its still in development. But it looks like it could be another pretty long wait. Sighs."
But we knew that before the update. Really, they haven't told us anything that we didn't already now. A true update would be to say it will be released before the end of February or it will be released during the month of March. When you consider how long we had to wait for that piece of feedback, it's quite comical that Telltale have nothing more to add than that.
I think the reason so many are disappointed is because many thought it would be different the second time around. It was believed that the team would have learned from past mistakes and had a better grip of things by season 2 to ensure that the wait between episodes was shorter. Every other development team seem to improve over time by building on the things they did successfully. There is no excuse for telltale to continue to have teething problems or issues that could cause delay in their second season, it's not like the episodes are longer than they were in season 1. Where waiting longer for shorter episodes. Well, some of us are waiting. Some of the fans have chosen to wait until all episodes are out this time around, some have chosen to wait for the disc version. I chose to buy the episodes separately, this time, when they eventually come out so I get to play what I have paid for the day I part with my cash instead of paying in advance for episodes that will be delayed.

I'll be the last person to flip a table here, but dammit I'm....... not mad, or sad, or upset, or annoyed, just....... Begging. For news, screenshots, a soundbite, an update, a description of a 1-second scene. Anything other than "I finished a playthrough!" "SUPER SOON!" "not even close...." "Soon I guess......" "maybe news this week." I love you Telltale, but dammit, if you don't want the heat, don't take on a bunch of projects, and refuse to give any news on your BEST SELLING FREAKING AMAZING FRANCHISE, and to top it off, and your last episode on an intense cliffhanger! I swear, that line at the end of episode 1......my god. How could you be so cruel to make that line simple, yet cryptic. I love you just.....please. don't leave us in the dark until release.

Puzzlebox would probably get fired if they gave us some actual news. Feel kind of bad for them. But yeah, whoever decided that not telling the public anything was a good idea should be set adrift at sea. We used to actually get info, like when the script was done, when the game was submitted for approval stuff like that. It's sad.
Ugh! I was excited at first when I saw a reply in the other thread, but it didn't really say anything we didn't already know. It was still pretty cryptic too. I'm just past mad at this point to disappointment.

that is strangely hypnotizing

God... I'm sorry, but I'm laughing too hard at your profile pic.
I was thinking the same thing lol
Inb4 the episode takes 4 months to release and is a 1 hour rush-job like TWAU EP2.

Well said.
Hahaha!
No offense @OutofthisworldNOMS.
4-6 weeks
None taken
Is that actually you? Or some alien/human hybrid? lol
I think it's pretty sexy.
It's me, and I myself AM an alien/human hybrid.
Ummm, if you say so.
By the time they release episode 2 I'm going to have to replay through the entire series just to remember who the characters were again.
So info may not be coming this week according to @puzzlebox.
we should rename the thread into NEWS MAY OR MAY NOT COME. IT WILL FOREVER BE A MYSTERY
Well, they've deleted the "fed up with telltale" thread. Figures...
Puzebox's explanation wasn't good enough, frankly. This company is unbelievable. We deserve news more than soon.
Aaaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!!! That is about my thoughts atm.
Anyone else came here from "Fed up with the crptic messages, Telltale" thread?
I just looked into my crystal ball and saw Clementine is going to die before episode 2 is released. . . . . . . FROM OLD AGE!
So it's still only in development?
Yeah.
Well PuzzleBox said that we could continue the talk here so... yeah. Damn, nothing today.
That's what the message said. And it can mean it's either nearly done or we are a fair way off yet,
We didn't delete it. It was closed because Puzzlebox confirmed the message was misinterpreted.

I thought for sure we'd get an announcement today for a trailer on Thursday. Guess we'll have to wait 'til Thursday for a trailer/announcement/update.
Ok, I got it wrong. My apologies.

Yep.
No harm done.
Everyone is guessing at this point, bro.
RIP My faith in TTG

Yep, I was too. I was trying to be logical. But Telltale is weird, lol.
