I don't think it is fair to be angry at everyone at Telltale, but I do think it is fair to level some critisism at their PR team. (mind you keeping your head would actually aid in giving them more useful criticism that they can work with better)
Everyone else should be focused on the story and enjoying themselves/managing their own lives to keep their minds fresh.
The PR department however must be overworked, understaffed or if neither of those things, must be completely forgetting that a core aspect of their job is engaging the community in order to foster a more active and positive relationship between the customer and the business, as opposed to a more latent and impotent, 'We Buy You Make' kind of relationship.
TL:DR, don't harass non PR people about PR related issues, do Criticize Telltale's PR performance in a constructive way so Telltale still knows it's a continuous problem that they need to fix, and to help them know what needs fixing. Telltale's PR needs to work on it's communication somewhat.
I personally don't mind the wait, but it is certain that their communication skills are lacking.
I'll just add this on the off chance that any of the PR team reads this: If you need proof: Just try Valve. Right now Telltale seems to be a lot like younger Valve: successful business model and game making, but without their PR skills. Valve has done a lot of good PR recently, and while you can say they have some bad PR in the past, such as their enduring silence over Half Life 3, that's kind of my point. Their fans still haven't forgiven them over that. But they still have an active and positive relationship with their business as a whole, and all of their other products due to their creative and entertaining PR skills in most other areas, and both parties have gained a lot as a result of this more active relationship between the customer and the business.

I believe they said they always worked on the game up to a day before releasing on Steam and TT store. I don't know how that works for consoles with the whole certification thing, but hopefully that is what they meant by "still in development".
Like a screenshot is gonna help when we already know the episode isn't even 100% completed.
Episode not completed yet = nothing to submit t… moreo classification/esrb/microsoft/sony/apple/etc = no release for another 2 weeks or more.
I really want to be wrong.
I never said those words. I said that there is way more young teens than before. Are you seriously going to argue with me over said I physically typed out myself and therefore know what I'm trying to say better than you do? Especially when you actually quoted me and therefore I can look right there and tell you that I never said that? Are you seriously going to argue with me on that? I think Blind Sniper had a point when he argued that this community has gotten too analytical for it's own good.
Most of the people here are quite new to Telltale and it's a very vocal minority complaining right now. Most are acting like young teenagers due to all the vitrol being spewed. Did I say all of them? No, stop pretending like I did please.
Hate to break this to you, but the words are yours, friend. If the SMOKE & MIRRORS delay had never gone down, you'd have more of a point. … moreBut after that particular incident, you can't blame a lot of people here for being a little more short-tempered than before.
Puzzlebox says Telltale classifies "Still in Development" as the same thing as "Not yet released." Doesn't matter if the game is being released the next day, it's still considered as "in development." They work on it until the release day for bug fixes.

It's nice to see that puzzlebox gave us some "news" but the fact that the game is still "in development" is rather annoying as it could still be at least another 2+weeks wait due to the submission process, I wish that they told us this earlier rather than us get our hopes for a imminent release, the fact they they said they they have played the game didn't help either, they should have said it was in beta or a unfinished copy as they made it look like it was completely finished.
I don't hate Telltale at this point as i am still really looking forward to episode 2 but they really need to work on their communication skills and how they word their comments so as not to mislead people.
As of right now the australian classification website is down. What if they're uploading a bunch of stuff and MAYBE episode 2 will be there once the page is back up?

Really?! Obama! Yo, I thought we were tight man, what happened?!
If it was, telltale would hype us up for nothing. I really hope it's not.

Come on guys... SOMEONE has to push the buttons to make the "super soon" tweets!
We were having an awesome Jedi Battle. -_-
Aw, well. If me and GOUSTTTT did get in a Lightsaber fight, who do you think would win?
Well a least we know that they HOPE to be able to give us a screenshot or a six second video...
Im trying to fight the urge of turning into a complainer. I was bit by one and tried to chop off my foot. Don't think its working.
Sniper would use the force on both of you. Neither would win.

Good man. You posted a gif of a hot looking chick.

So today was the most disappointing day in the entire 2 month wait. Probably won't even bother checking out the forums early tomorrow.
i think we will get a new screenshot today
Screenshot? Screenshot?! We need a god damn trailer,at least before 25th strikes.
Yep. Those are better than all these "soon's" we have been seeing.
I will check for updates soon. See ya in a couple of months!

As the saying goes "Honesty is the best policy"
I need the source!
...you know, for scientific reasons.
