At Episode 1 . At the End Where They ended Up In The Motel .
Glenn Decided . To leave The Group And Find His Friends . But When He left .
You hear people Screaming In the Background .
Which Means .
(1) Glenn Saved Those People . And Found A group . And Might Come Back in Season 2
Or
(2) Glenn Saw A group Attacked And Was About To Help But It Got Wrong . And got "Bitten Or killed"

Glen did find a group, it's leaders name is Rick Grimes
Neither. Glenn does indeed find a group after leaving in episode one. The Atlanta survivors group who Rick later joins in the first few issues of the comic. Apart from a few moments Glenn never leaves this group
Season two episode one takes place around two years after the comic starts. Issue 100 is also meant to take place at around the same point. Glenn dies in that issue.
Sorry but he is dead.
Glenn got a little taste of Lucille.
