Plan B - If The Group Splits

edited February 2014 in The Walking Dead

I can't believe Rick's group could be together that long and not have discussed a fallback loction to meet in case the prison fell.

Looks like they failed to do this and now they're split up to hell and gone.

Seems like it would be common sense to have at least 2 possible meet up locations in case things went bad.

Personally I'd have the prison wired with ANFO and I'd've given it to the Governor then blew him to hell once I was safely outside the gates, maybe wait till 3 am when everyone's asleep..

Looks like Ricks group had NO plan for if they were attacked and dispersed.

Carelessness?

  • Hershel's farm maybe? Like in the comics

  • I thought this was a the walking dead game forum but good point anyway.

  • Even that would work in the show, I'm guessing after all this time there'd be very few walkers hanging around, but I certainly wouldn't have had NO plans at all, like they seemed to do

"If the worst happens, we meet here, in 24 hours. If that place is no good/infested, location B"

Just seems dumb to let your group be scattered.

  • I think it would be pretty defendable with a Daryl :P

  • Yeah you have a pretty great point that the writers of the show have over looked, if only Frank Darabont would have kept his job...

  • It is this is just something that bugged me.

Lee's group wouldn't have been that fucking dumb.

  • In th comics, they all meet up and go to the farm

  • Don't ever go with Plan B. Always go with Plan R, that way you can at least launch the nukes.

  • Actually you are right, the group is all scatered and wondering if any of the others is alive...

I guess they were just so sure that everything was under control that they didn't bothered making a place to meet or run to.

It was kind off careless if you really analyse it, but no one thinks of the worst until it happens, but I guess the worst has already happened in the walking dead universe :P

  • But surely in the world where the dead are eating the living and you've lost everything and are scrabbling to survive, it'd make sense to think about contingencies.

And no matter how bad things are, they can always get worse...
