Twice last season the trailer has come out on the same day as the episode. One time it came out five days AFTER the episode was released. Telltale has done this before.
You guys are expecting episode 2 out of this, and not even a single trailer come out, not even a release date. They don't announce the release… more date when the game comes out, they announce it at LEAST a few hours before the game comes out.
I think you shouldn't expect a whole episode. It's probably a bug fix, or something extremely minor that you don't care about.

Episode 2 is still in development, I doubt they would put out some sort of dev build or something to the Steam servers.

It could be very likely they are getting the info on the Steam severs ready for patch, but don't get your hopes up for today.
