Based on the progression of events with AWAU I'd say we are about a week from release. Wolf released 7 days after it had a considerable increase in the maxsize field. Of course this is a guess extrapolated from AWAU.
I don't think it is fair to be angry at everyone at Telltale, but I do think it is fair to level some critisism at their PR team. (mind you ke… moreeping your head would actually aid in giving them more useful criticism that they can work with better)
Everyone else should be focused on the story and enjoying themselves/managing their own lives to keep their minds fresh.
The PR department however must be overworked, understaffed or if neither of those things, must be completely forgetting that a core aspect of their job is engaging the community in order to foster a more active and positive relationship between the customer and the business, as opposed to a more latent and impotent, 'We Buy You Make' kind of relationship.
TL:DR, don't harass non PR people about PR related issues, do Criticize Telltale's PR performance in a constructive way so Telltale still knows it's a continuous problem that they need to fix, and to help them know what needs … [view original content]
Ugh, the stench of puberty is strong in this forum.
Please kids, calm down. If you get into an episodic game, then fucking deal with it. It'… mores not like it's been 6 months, so STOP YOUR WHINING! Or just don't buy the game.
Telltale, please take your time, thank you for this awesome game.

is this the point where we all start quoting our favorite end lines from movies or TV shows?

its for you.. (hopefully she knows what the hell is going on with the release date)
I never said they were lazy, I did say however that they may be overlooking a core aspect of their job (engaging the community). That decision (if it is the case) might also have been forced upon them by contract agreements/higher ups, making it not their fault, but still a problem that Telltale needs to address.

The problem might not be any of those things but rather a constraint imposed on what they can and cannot say, either by Telltale's business partnerships or by the decrees of some of the higher-ups. Yes, a PR team is supposed to engage the community but they can only disseminate whatever information they are told they can disseminate. That being said, isn't always obvious why they can't reveal certain information, and it can certainly be frustrating when they don't disclose information when it would probably help their case. But I don't think the appropriate complaint to the PR department… [view original content]
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that was something that you said. That was more of a general statement addressing an attitude that I've just been seeing around here a lot.
People want a target to vent their frustrations onto and lately it seems that those targets have mostly been the PR staff because they're the most readily visible Telltale employees and because they are the ones who directly communicate information when it comes out. But that does not mean that they are necessarily the ultimate arbiters of the information that fans are allowed to hear. It just seems highly unlikely to me that the PR staff would still be comfortably employed if they were withholding information that was both aggressively demanded by the fan-base and that their superiors would be fine with them giving out. And so the idea that "Telltale should just hired different PR people and everything would be fine" (again, not a belief I'm attributing to you) just seems naive to me and was something I felt needed to be addressed.

I sure hope that TTG submitted the game to Sony and Microsoft 2 weeks ago.......
If they just shot the final version off then this update is going to be a teaser or screenshot with a middle finger. It takes at least 2 weeks for those 3rd party vendors to test and allow the game to be added. I really hope this episode does not push to. March.
1.9 GB sounds awful large one of their episodes though. TWD s2 ep1 on ps3 was like 700MB. Unless it is the combination of ep 1 and ep 2 then 1.9 Gb sounds reasonable.
Yes, the 1.9GB is a combination of both episodes 1 and 2. Also that information comes from Steam so file sizes will be slightly different on PS3 and other platforms.

Wait, why was that steam update-thread closed? And now it's renamed to ''steam updates mean nothing''?
Was all of that just nonesense or am i missing something?

pffft I wish
I swear you are just using big words to confuse me and that rarely happens
My guess is that it will release sometime next week or the first week of march. Again, that's just my guess.

Watch it be some crazy cliffhanger at the very end of the episode.

I wish. R.I.P Lee Everett. In the beginning a criminal, in the end redeemed hero. He is an inspiration to us all.
Leeeee ;_;
I die a little in the inside when I think of him in public.
Yeah he was a legend. We salute you, Lee!
R.I.P Lee Everett...We'll miss you man...

I just realized the first line is "spend all your time waiting" . . . complete coincidence.
Incoming episode 2~~~
How I feel waiting for some news from telltale.
I AM THE ONE WHO RELEASES!
Another update added since you posted http://steamdb.info/app/261030/#section_history hopefully we will get it "soon"
Giving a release date that they might not meet will invite all sorts of trouble/complaints/threats. Just have patience.
Funny, but untrue.
