So, Telltale moving and adding files to the Steam Database. That happend one day or so before Smoke & Mirrors launched. Could this be a confirmed fact A House Divided arriving by the weekend? If not, the 25th is growing even more likely. But what still troubles me is the episode still not being rated.
It's funny how the Steam Database can bring us more meaningful updates than Telltale on their own website.
I have serious problems remembering the plot details of The Walking Dead even though I have finished all of it.
Character details are fading … moreaway and get replaced with more abstract versions like "That black lady..." "This doctor guy and his daughter"..."who helped me out before...maybe?!...in which situation again?"
I forgot about names and faces, not even to mention character details or all those decisions i took regarding the different characters.
Hell I don't even remember what I was doing on Tuesday two weeks ago.
For the upcoming episode I might have to replay/watch a lot of TWD again,or otherwise it will be a "who are you? what am i doing?" experience.
It feels like Clementine has got some serious dementia after all this time of waiting for the next episode.
Do you feel the same,or can you remember the plot and its characters much better than me?
kenny : fuck fuck fuuuck fuuuuuuuuuuuuck fuuuuuck
everyone:what the fuck is wrong with you kenny ?
kenny : trolltalegames said that the … moresecond episode of walking dead season 2 will come at the 22 century !
everyone : fuck fuck fuuuck fuuuuuuuuuuuuck fuuuuuck!
87% true f**king story
I love having to wait for this episode to come out! As a fact I hope they never release it at all but just pretend that they are just so I can keep waiting and checking their twitter page every day for no actual TWD news!
This is why I paid for a season pass because I love having to wait for games more instead of actually playing them.
I hope this gets game of the year as it deserves it and TT should win loads of other awards!!
I wish it was just released first on the first platform it was approved on, then the next, then the next.. if that was the case, the glorious PC gaming master race would probably be getting Ep2 today or tomorrow.

I sure hope that TTG submitted the game to Sony and Microsoft 2 weeks ago.......
If they just shot the final version off then this update i… mores going to be a teaser or screenshot with a middle finger. It takes at least 2 weeks for those 3rd party vendors to test and allow the game to be added. I really hope this episode does not push to. March.
1.9 GB sounds awful large one of their episodes though. TWD s2 ep1 on ps3 was like 700MB. Unless it is the combination of ep 1 and ep 2 then 1.9 Gb sounds reasonable.
Wait, why was that steam update-thread closed? And now it's renamed to ''steam updates mean nothing''?
Was all of that just nonesense or am i missing something?

Well we're talking about complete games when we wait years. If telltale put out complete seasons of their games years apart I'd have no problem with that.
And the same goes for you sir. I have kept track of the Steam Datebase long enough for Telltale Games to see the pattern. The same might not apply for other games, that one I give you. But when Telltale add files it's only a matter of days until the episode arrive. Like I said the same happend for Smoke & Mirrors.
I don't know whether I should be excited for today because it's the second to last day of the work week and therefore one of two logical days left to release news or if I shouldn't be excited at all because it's obvious they'd just wait for Friday.
Pretty much how I see the waiting period between episodes:
* The first two weeks after the release is always very exciting. You do your p… morelaythroughs until you're satisfied, and talk about it.
* The next two weeks you get together and start talking about the upcoming episode, and hype is created.
* One month passes, and the waiting starts to grow annoying and Telltale applies their Radio Silence, avoiding our question marks.
* After the six weeks mark you slowly start to forget the plot and characters. Your choices just gets more and more blurred.
* And finally we reach two months, civil disorder and despair arises. You lose the emotional relationship with the characters.
And I don't even want to know what happens if it goes even longer.

Over 400 and counting.

Not the faintest what all of these numbers really mean... But it is looking alot like how Telltale were moving files before Smoke & Mirrors released.
So still nothing. I hate checking every day for info but I can't stop

we will learn more about them when we can finally have the option to just walk around and talk to them like in the pharmacy
Ben: "Maybe we can just ask for a refund and forget the game ever came out." Kenny: "That's fucking stupid, Ben."

Episodic gaming- Great in theory, TERRIBLE WHEN THE DEVELOPER PROMISES 4-6 WEEK RELEASES, THEN PULLS THIS!!!
same here
"Played the latest EP of #TheWalkingDead today & you'll all be playing too super soon" (Job J Stauffer, 15.02)
"Did you hear anyone laughing?" (Bigby Wolf, ep2)
I wish it was just released first on the first platform it was approved on, then the next, then the next.. if that was the case, the glorious PC gaming master race would probably be getting Ep2 today or tomorrow.
Fixed:I am the one who delays
TTG: "Episodes will be released 4-6 weeks apart"............9 weeks later
Console Gamers- Fucking it all up for PC gamers since 1995
MSFT and Sony WILL ONLY approve the absolute final build of the episode.
Because updates to the Steam DB really do mean nothing.
Not really. Just because Steam DB of the game gets updated doesn't mean squat. You must be new to Steam DB getting all excited over this.
YOU SHALL NOT DELAY!!!

You misquoted (probably out of unnecessary frustration):
"Episodes are usually available to download between 4 and 6 weeks apart."
Please keep your facts straight, and if you don't believe me, check the FAQ page.
the si eso es gets me every time.
"They're never early, they're always late,
The first thing that you learn is you always gotta wait..."
I hope we will get the awesome tweet today: Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 2; A House Divided Release 21.02.2013
"We're getting tired of waiting around,
Waiting around with our heads to the ground"...
hmm i wonder why my gandalf post got dislikes, i guesss people would like it to be delayed!
"I don't wanna wait in vain..."
Bob Marley on waiting

I don't think I could have worded that any worse.
so nothing new? sigh................................ well, there's always tomorrow!

If i don't see any news tomorrow or on 25th ( like a trailer or something ) i'll lose my hope.
Signed.
I have hope we will get a trailer today. I'm probably wrong though.
Good Guy TellTaleGames, releases episode 2 on non-workday.(at least i hope so)
Scumbag TTG, doesn't release Episode 2.
There you go:
