Well, he had early access to TWAU so maybe he has some better informations about release plans from TTG, who knows.

  • Note to self - Telltale are liars.

  • Happy everyone? Trailer next week. Release in early March. No more complaining until after you finish Episode 2.

  • So he made himself cry uncontrollably at the end of last season!

well, much as I would have liked Episode 2 on February 25, it seems that isn't happening. still, the radio silence is broken, so that's definitely a good thing. I guess we wait for the trailer. Honestly it's so good to see the title of this thread changed from no info yet.

  • No promise was EVER made. It was an estimation. Get over it. Delays happen and there is nothing anyone can do about it, sometimes even developers. Try making a game like TWD and see if you can meet everyone's expectations for a deadline.

Episodic gaming- Great in theory, TERRIBLE WHEN THE DEVELOPER PROMISES 4-6 WEEK RELEASES, THEN PULLS THIS!!!

  • Another one just crawled up.

  • Like i said that come March :)
    Finally :)

  • Early march? Damn I bet that means the 2nd week of March. I really wish they didn't say soon. Well now I wont forum float as much. People are going to go ape shit posting complaints and pointless threads.

  • Yeah.

  • Yup. No more purchases from me until all episodes are out and games get to 75% off. :)

  • I think what I find most bizarre through all of this is the lack of a apology or acknowledgement of wrong-doing. I don't feel I am entitled to anything or think Im above telltale, but really I payed up front for a season pass and they leave us in the dark for 70 days only to come out with crappy, and hypocritical statements. Knowing telltale I realize the apology would be half assed anyways but really at least appear like you care about the consumers of your game.

  • I just love twd too much to be able to criticize telltale.

  • They has your money. They are the boss.

  • Also, I am willing to put actual money on the line here that "early March" is EARLIEST March 10. I know most of you probably weren't on the forums for season 1 but on all honesty you will grow accustomed to having telltale say false statements. They did THE EXACT SAME THING during Season 1 when they said "episode will be coming out in two weeks" . . .three weeks passed until the episode came out. Im almost positive they said for another episode it would be coming out early in a month too and it came out the 22nd of the month. Hey down vote if you must, but please realize Telltale saying it is coming out early March means nothing besides it is not coming out in February.

  • Its our own fault for buying their pass, I know I have learned my lesson. Their episodic structure is a complete failure, no TWD until all episodes are out from now on.

Am i the only one who thinks it's not TTG fault, but it could be Microsoft, Sony, Steam, etc. failing to set a right date with TTG and other stuff like that? Or something else like that?

  • Watch them say, oh we didn't
mean march next month, we meant march 2015.

  • I know I have no one to blame but myself. Especially someone who went through season 1 and witnessed all of Telltales bluffs and terrible PR already I should have known.

  • Possibly, or possibly not.

  • Its our own fault for buying into their episodic nonsense. Us fans have basically given them carte blanche to screw us over time and time again.

  • I came in just before episode 4, I never really bought into the terrible release schedule talk, until now...

  • Our? I enjoy the game. Maybe just you and maybe some other people think it's your own fault, but definitely not all of us.

  • If there's a trailer next week like they say then hopefully it'll be out the week after.

  • I think it could be the case. Or the game had trouble being submitted?

    Possibly, or possibly not.
