Reading most of the threads here, people are claiming left, right and centre that this "isn't a delay".
I mean, how much more silly can it get? Really? Not a delay? That's how low you stoop?

What do you want? Everyone to stay negative and complain all the time? Not enjoy the episode due to the negativity?
Yes its taking longer than expected just as last season did, most people are happy waiting as long as the content is good and that the company keeps us updates as much as possible. I get its a bit of a delay but these things happen. Very few are claiming it wasn't a delay but I dont get what being negative gets you. Its just good to stay positive.
I'd rather have a good game than a mass effect 3 like thing that was rushed out and then hated on by people for not being good.
Hey I'm not happy, right now TTG can go fuck themselves in my opinion, but this is not a delay.
Yes fuck those people...fuck everyone and complain more please! Or how about just enjoy the game and be happy that Telltale finnaly gave us some appropriate news?
Kennyisntdead, but your spirit is that's for sure.
If delay means it took longer than you personally expected, then yes.
Duke Nukem took 7 years,if i remember correctly and was a sh**y game. The good news: we got some screenshots and we're going to get a trailer next week.
A delay only occurs when a solid date is announced, and is then pushed back.
Since Telltale never announced a solid release date in the first place, technically this isn't a delay.
True I'm just basing it off this game and that last season got delayed a lot too but it always turned out great. The one that wasnt really delayed was episode 4 which most people claim is the weakest. Episode 2 was the longest and most people claim that was the best
I said it wasn't a delay...
Fuck me, right?
Look, I've had enough threads attempting to attack at me personally, I don't need another one.
Key word, technically. At least you got this right. But talking based on technicalities is like clutching on straws, finding every last excuse to defend Telltale and being a sodden apologist as a result.
The official FAQ says 4-6 weeks. If it's released in March, then it will have been at least 11 fucking weeks. Don't know about anyone else, but I'd call that a delay,
Telltale have never - NEVER - given release dates for their games until shortly before they're released.
I fail to understand why people find it such a shock that it's happened this time when history will prove that it's happened dozens of times in the past.
There is no solid release schedule. There never has been. There can't be a delay is something never had a release date in the first place.
Therefore... this has not been deyaled.
Why would I attack you personally? I don't even know you lol.
Telltale was never planning to release twd in Feb, so its not a delay.
It's happened before though....
It says USUALLY. That's the irritating little word people always seem to ignore.
The OP makes it pretty obvious that you're calling out people who said this particular thing.
You are, either intentionally or unintentionally, attacking those who disagreed with you and saying we are "silly". That includes me and everyone with the same or similar opinions. I don't need this shit right now.
What do you want? Everyone to knuckle down and keep their mouths shut after one inexplicable delay is piled on top of another? We're doing our best here, dude.
So if episode 3, 4 and 5 also take more than 6 weeks, what then?
Read it again because you're wrong.
THEN you can say that the FAQ is wrong and Telltale are full of shit.
Then nothing. TT is still making money. What do you mean?
I hope "early march" Isn't march 10's-30
March 4th doesn't feel like super soon to me :[
I guess a delay happened?
Careful with that. You're gonna be hated around these parts for saying that.
kennyisntdead just keeps spamming threads that have already been posted 5 million times. A lot of them he has bashing down TTG
Let's... let's keep personal attacks like that out of these discussions, if we could.
can I have a cheeseburger its been 10 seconds since I last ate
Well I hope we get an exact release date next week and then Im happen. Should have done that like a month ago so everyone knows that its in March.
There are good points in what you are saying, but the story loses its intensity after an amount of time. (I mean you start to forget your choices, you lose emotional connections to characters, mb its just me but when TWAU ep 2 came out i barely remembered any characters so..) This is why people keeps complaining, i would say that 4-6 weeks period is fair, but dont let that be doubled or the game loses its good..
Duke Nukem Forever was a severely unfunded project, they didnt work for those full 7 years. After a 3 year break they came back to it still hardly working on it. It was doomed from the get go.
I thought I was just stating something. Sorry. I wasn't going for that if that's what you thought.
Things have a nasty habit of escalating very quickly around here - I just didn't want that to happen here, that's all.
No harm, no foul.
I remember OXM doing a list of things which took less time than Duke Nukem Forever. The two most memorable both world wars put together and the publication, completion of the books and films of Harry Potter came and went in the same period.
Bump!
