[Wants honest answers] Why say 4-6 weeks in the FAQ if you can't even stay anywhere close to it?

I have been wondering the above. Would it not be "false advertising" to say 4-6 weeks in the FAQ?

I for one will honestly tell you I purchased TWD S2 ONLY after reading the above assurance in the FAQ, as I imagine many others would have

As a genuinely tricked and disgruntled customer, will Telltale also be able to own up on their mistake and grant me a refund for my purchase? If they can do this one thing, I will forgive them.

  • They don't need your forgiveness, they have your money.

The 4-6 weeks in the FAQ is an estimate. A bad estimate, but an estimate none-the-less.

  • The exact statement in the FAQ is not that will be delivered in four to six weeks but usually within four to six weeks, which is significantly different. It would be an inaccurate statement if it occurred with the remaining episodes it is however intended as little more than an estimate.

Haven't you already made a thread/thing of comments on the FAQ?
Also, if they don't keep the 4-6 week promise for Episode 3, you can get a refund. But then you won't get the fabulous game. Huehuehue

  • Due to it's phrasing it's not a promise though.

  • Oh, hey @himmatsj. I'll tell you the same thing I told you on your main account.

The "4-6 week timeframe" you are citing is a purposefully vague estimate made to educate people who are not already familiar with episodic gaming from Telltale.
