Well I'd rather trust him over Rebecca any day! But yeah, I think we can. He seems to care a lot for Clem.
Doesn't Luke say that his parents are dead if Clem says hers are?
Either way, the short time that we talked to Luke he seemed friendly. That doesn't mean I trust him. I don't trust a single person in the cabin group as of now because I know nothing about them. Luke and Pete were the friendliest, but that doesn't mean a thing.

I think we can trust him as long as difficult moral decisions don't need to be made. In which case he's a bit of a wildcard. At least Alvin was willing to risk the group's anger by helping Clementine.

I trust him,he looks like a nice person to me. Who would've go with Clementine into the forest? Rebbeca? Carlos? Alvin? Pete is hurt and Nick is probably drunk.
Nah, Big Al is just a "family-oriented" man, Rebecca takes advantage of this. He clearly doesn't want his marriage with Rebecca to end abruptly so he simply allows himself to get pushed around if it means to save their marriage. This happens a lot with couples nowadays.
You may be right. It would explain why the blackmailing option works; something that should logically have worse consequences for Clem than him. He could've just called her bluff (he only does if you follow up your threat with silence). It'll be interesting if we get to see him in a tug of war between Rebecca and Clementine. One appealing to his values as a family man and the other to his ethics.
Where I think he has the edge over Luke is that while both determined that helping Clem would be risky only one can act based on what he thinks is right. I mean to be fair to Luke he did take action in his own way but what's he going to do in a situation where the decision comes down to him and him alone?

I noticed that if you picked I ran away. He died trying to protect me whilst talking to Luke about Lee, Clementine will say "...sometimes people die because of me". The game states that Luke will remember that. Gets me wondering how Luke will take that info.
Yeah I'm always saying that same thing; "ingore dislikes" but I don't understand that when you say something what is 100% true you get them.
