Why you chose your choice at the end of Season 2 episode 1...
Just wondering, because I have seen a lot of different answers to the question of why Pete or Nick, but most of them seem pretty logical answers, but I have never seen anyone state the same reason for picking Nick as I did:
I was afraid.
So did anyone else pick Nick because they, like me, were simply scared, and Nick wasn't hurt and had bullets?
P.S. I felt horrible with myself and angry at Nick simultaneously when he yelled out 'HOW COULD YOU JUST LEAVE HIM?' When he was calling for Clementine to run to him. Also, you know, because she was 10 with no gun and there were shitloads of walkers all over the place.
Honestly, realistically, what did Nick expect? That a 10 year old girl dodge her way through a crowd of walkers, kill 3 or 4 of them with Pete with no bullets, then escape while Nick escaped through the forest?
I know that does happen if you run to Pete, but still, it's not exactly something you would expect of a child even in the walker apocalypse.

I chose Pete (No replays at all), because I think he is a very good guy. When the choice came up, I went with him automatically without thinking even though he was bit. I saw that Nick probably got away and we can still save Pete if we cut his leg off.
All characters who died in one ending cannot be saved eventually so I just chose Nick. Too bad for Pete.
Yes I chose Nick for the same reason as you. I remember playing it for the first time and the one line that stuck in my head during that scene was Pete saying he was out of ammo. To me that meant he couldn't protect Clementine as well as Nick could. I was thinking more about Clem's safety than Pete's. Then I felt guilty when Nick said that I could've saved him but in the end I stand by my decision.
Not true. I watched the Episode 1 Fin Trailer and it looks like you are going to saw off his leg like he said it works for his cousin.
Okay, you wanted her to be safe, but one thing: Clem is not going to die in Ep1 / Ep2. xD
chose pete because humanity
I did choose Pete, because Pete was my favourite character from the cabin group. I did like him even more then i liked Luke. He was the only person that always truly sided with Clem and tryed to protect her when the other people were thinking she was biten. Nick on the other hand was a dick to me thoughout the entire episode ( yes i didn't except his apology, he almost blew my face of that's unforgivable). I realy hope that uncle Pete will make it in the next episode and even if he won't make it i don't regret my decision. I would choose Pete over Nick any day any time.
True but I'm not going to put her in harm's way just because I know she won't die.
I choose Nick but nothing to do with the bite...And I'm sorry I know Pete fans don't lie hearing this but I thnk that cutting the leg off will only work if Clem and him find the shed just when the episode beggins... If not will happen the same as Lee, will live for a while but then turn... besides if the game was reallity, running, having high emotions (like fear, anger or excitment) will make the blood blow faster and soo will make the virus spread to the brain faster....
Lee's didn't work because it had already spread. He had blackouts before he cut it off so that must of meant it spread to the brain. Pete has no signs except a limp. It will take a very long time to have it reach to the stomach area where you pretty much can't cut it out.
But Pete might die of bloodlost. That's what I'm worried about.
i saved because i liked him more than nick, and nick got away from the zombies and petes the homie.

I went with Nick because Pete was out of ammo, had less chances of protecting Clem and because I assumed he had been already bitten. I wasn't concerned about what character I liked better at that point, I just wanted to live.
I chose Pete because he stood up for Clem when she was bitten. He had my back when everyone else was freaking out over my bite, so I decided to have his back when he was bitten. I can understand running for Nick though, even though I'm fairly pleased with the way saving Pete goes, in that you free him and Nick still gets away.
I chose Pete because he needed the help more.
On my first playthrough, I chose Pete. To this day I still don't regret it one bit. He seems to have more morality than Nick. I hope he can last through the entire episode...or at least most of it.
I chose Uncle Pete because he's old and experienced and Nick is a bit cray. Don't trust him.
I saved nick because it seemed more logical. First he was not bitten. And second he had bullets. I knew one of them would die and saving Pete just meant that losing both of them. I just wanted not to lose anymore group members. I was terrified when he shouted at me not for saving Pete. I mean come on! I came through two or three zombies just to save him!!. But when I saw that after saving Pete, Nick runs away, I felt very ashamed. But this is the fun in playing TWD.
I hope that Ep2 will be just as amazing ( or even more ) than Ep1.
Well yes, i said "my" face since in the game i am playing Clem. I thought that goes without saying.

I chose nick, then replayed and chose Pete, now I'm gonna replay and go back to nick because I have a Pete playthrough as well as a nick one.
