No, I mean perhaps if they got to Wellington, then S3 would follow Clem a bit, but S4 might follow another character in Wellington(Kenny?), and then in S5, back to Clem. Something like that.
Cool ideas, I've long bene thinking taht the all Carver situation will be much more comple than people are thinking, because you know you are going on about on how bad Carver is, but you are following the oppinion of people that hate you know it's easier to think taht your enimies are the evil ones and not think about your own actions...
I'm guessing initially Carver will act like the bad guy but than someone else will be the enimie or just Carver and some people from his group ann the cabin group are the only survivors of a walker attack and everyone has to suck it up and wpork as a group to survive...
Now for the survivors in episode 5 I would say, Clementine, Kenny, Luke, Nick, Carver, 400 days charatcher(s) you choose to save and Christa, and problably someone lelse we haven't met yet.. SO much more people than in season 1.
quick question, where is the "Wellington" that Christa is talking about? Ohio? that's not a large city or anything, just a small town, so Episode 5 slide with the large buildings can't be Wellington, it's way too big. looks like Atlanta, but that is quite a bit of snow for ATL (although in the comics, it's clearly snowing pretty good in the beginning, when they were closer to ATL). just a thought
What could be a good idea for Episode 4 is that beforehand, Clem's group is taken hostage by Carver's group. In Episode 4 they are forced to act as soldiers for Carver, fighting against the community in 400 Days. So you'd have to be fighting Vince or Shel or Russell, Wyatt, or Bonnie, but you of course wouldn't want to.

Probably but I'd still say it was Rebecca's fault. Sarah doesn't seem to be a burden to the group (yet) although her "cease to function" status makes her liability though.
In my playthrough near the end of Episode 1, I came across this body. Looks oddly similar to Christa. Same hair, same clothes, possible discolouration due to being dead, Squished face, etc. Idunno.
It's photo evidence and I'm sure telltale wouldn't reuse a model of such a big character like that.
Well I don't think so. Remember the couple who committed suicide (or murdered themselves)(Right before Ben scene) in Ep 5 from Season 1? The woman there (right next to her dead lover) has the exact same model and body posture/ positioning if you look closely in comparison.
This has already been disproved. It's not Christa's model, it's a reused model from Episode 5: No Time Left. the bodies are the same couple who committed suicide in the room just before Kenny's "sacrifice". Besides the fact that it's a different model from Christa, there's a few things to disprove this.
The other women has different colored hair(in Season 2, Christa's was more brown or auburn, but the dead woman's was stark black.
The dead woman was wearing different cloths.
Clementine would have said something if it was Christa, and wouldn't have bothered asking the dying man(Victor) about what happened to Christa.
Still, there WAS a body that a lot of people missed. The first one that Clem checked was Roman from 400 Days. This could also be a case of reused models, but there are a few things to suggest that it may actually be Roman.
It showed you the body in a cutscene, meaning you couldn't miss it.
It zoomed in on his face, possibly this was so people could recognize him.
Unlike many cases of reused models, he was also wearing the same cloths.
Finally, to disprove the Christa thing, let's look at the two side to side.
As I said, different hair color, different cloths, and also different skin tone a little. It's not Christa.
Christa won't be reintroduced that quickly, it would be awkward when you're just starting to meet the new cabin members, on a side note I recall a tweet that you're 400 days choices would be featured in this episode
Yeah, all the talk about 400 Days is interesting. I was thinking maybe E3 or something. I'd be very surprised if all of them are introduced in this new episode, but then again, there has to be some reason for Telltale talking about 400 days as much as they have.
Christa won't be reintroduced that quickly, it would be awkward when you're just starting to meet the new cabin members, on a side note I recall a tweet that you're 400 days choices would be featured in this episode
Yeah, I've just built up this situation in my mind.
They get to the ski resort, the group there thinks that Clem's group are bandits, Clem … morepushes her way through to see what's going on, and then you see Keny is there. "I thought you were dead." Then Kenny's says something like "Oh shit, Clem, is that you?"

Nice theories man, i really like them a lot. Something i thought of his, i feel the same was as you, maybe Carver's group wont really be a big problem, i feel like they're gonna be like The Saviors from the Comic, lead by Negan. They're still an enemy, but they're a passive enemy and not a very big threat at the moment, but maybe later on.
Well, here it is. The big theory at least until A House Divided provides me with new material for more theories and predictions.
An in depth analysis of the S2E2 Trailer for A House Divided.
Here is the video that I will be referencing to(for now):
The trailer is from 2:15 - 3:40
Carver: Okay, so Carver is in the trailer, I'll be honest, that's something that I didn't really expect. Something interesting that I noticed right off the bat is that he appears to have taken the place of "Troy" in the previews from the end of the last episode. Perhaps this is a change, similar to how even though Lawrence was in the previews for The Wolf Among Us: Smoke & Mirrors, he wasn't in the episode.
The trailer actually does confirm two things about Carver, for me anyway. One, he probably is the bad guy, or at least will be viewed as the "bad guy" for this Season. Two, he definitely has something to do with Rebecca, and her unborn child is probably the reason that he's chasing the group.
It seems most likely that Rebecca's baby is Carver's, or at the very least, he believes that to be the case. Her and the baby are most likely the source of conflict, and the reason the Cabin group left Carver's group.
An interesting idea of what will happen when Carver shows up in the episode is that maybe he'll try and convince Clem that the group did something wrong, and maybe they did for all we know. From 3:03 to 3:11 we hear Carver saying something along those lines. He may not be totally insane or evil as many people have said before, but still, the way he says, "Let's just say we had our differences" makes me think that there's definitely something wrong with the guy.
Let's leave Carver for now, as there's not much more to say about him from the trailer. Besides the fact that he has a cheap version of Kenny's moustache.
The Ski Lodge: We see the ski lodge in the trailer, something that's not really a surprise as it's in the slide for the episode. This is a fairly important location, in fact, in the previews, it's the place where Clem meets the person she thought was dead. So, we've got that to look forward to.
We also see a lot of walkers at the ski lodge, so it might not be as safe as I had previously theorized(In the second theory post on this thread, i'd said that maybe it was the base of the people Clem and the others meet in the previews). It may just be a stop along the way, not the "home base" I had thought it might have been.
The other interesting thing about the Ski Lodge, are the people that we saw there both in the previews and in this new trailer. We only actually see one person from the ski lodge in the trailer, and that's Walter (I think that's his name anyway). We saw him in the previews in the "I thought you were dead" scene. In the trailer, we see him spinning a knife in his hands... for some reason. I suppose it's meant to be threatening, or given a threatening tone at least, but it's a trailer, things are misleading. I still believe that the people at the ski lodge are not with Carver, and that they're most likely good people.
Pete: We don't actually see Pete in the trailer, so this could mean one of two things right now. One, the choice was meaningless and he dies either way, or two, they're doing something similar to what happened with the trailers for Episodes 1-3. In those trailers, we never saw Carley, but we did see Doug. So perhaps we won't be seeing Pete in the trailers because they're down from the perspective of someone who saved Nick.
There's no real way to prove it one way or the other, so I'll leave this for now.
One specific thing I'd like to point out is at 3:06, the person to the left of the screen. It doesn't appear to be anyone we've met so far... Except for maybe Shel? I'm not sure about this, just thought I'd point it out.
About Pete, I'm pretty sure he doesn't make it, Scott was talking about how others would attempt to fulfill the "father figure" of the group, but I'm just speculating.

People have been saying that the person that you see at 3:06 might be Sarah. Since everyone else had been talking about it, I figured I'd do a short little addition on who I think it is. In short, Shel.
I think that if Shel left with Tavia in 400 Days, then it will be her in that scene. They seem to have a fairly similar build, and the person in the trailer is wearing the same hoodie as Shel was in the second half of her 400 Days story.
Of course, if Shel didn't leave with Tavia, then I think it will be someone else in the actual game, but as for the person in the trailer... The likely candidates according to the rest of the community are Sarah, Becca, or Shel, and of those, I think Shel is most likely.

I'm of the opinion that it's Sarah but now that I think of it again, maybe they simply used Sarah's model as a placeholder for a 400 days character. That would make sense since they probably want us to be surprised when they eventually show up.

It doesn't really look like Sarah. She's too tall, no glasses, the unknown person has shorter hair, different cloths... I'm really not sure why people seem to think it's Sarah. Despite the fact that she looks nothing like Sarah, there's one more thing. Why would she be fighting walkers if Carlos is trying to keep her isolated from everything?
I'm of the opinion that it's Sarah but now that I think of it again, maybe they simply used Sarah's model as a placeholder for a 400 days character. That would make sense since they probably want us to be surprised when they eventually show up.
It could very well be Becca as well. Either way, we're seeing the episode itself in a few days, so we'll find out then, and even if it's Becca, it confirms the same thing, that 400 Days characters will be in E2.
One specific thing I'd like to point out is at 3:06, the person to the left of the screen. It doesn't appear to be anyone we've met so far..… more. Except for maybe Shel? I'm not sure about this, just thought I'd point it out.
Looks like Becca to me (credits to Michael7123)
Well, we weren't really supposed to know that it was Troy in the previews. Since Troy appears to be with the Ski Lodge Group, and I still don't think that they're with Carver, maybe he was just a placeholder model that they put in the previews so people wouldn't find out that it was Carver? It's possible anyway, same as how Becca was originally a reused Clementine model for a placeholder, maybe Troy was a placeholder model for Carver?
Then again, it could also be a case of an inaccurate preview, as shown in the previews for Starved for Help(Ben firing the rifle with a different voice), or the previews for Smoke & Mirrors(Lawrence in the previews, but not in the episode).

Yeah, I changed my mind. I did some comparisons with the first episode and there were a number of small details in Sarah's appearance I missed or remembered wrong. Also helped watching the trailer in it's highest resolution. It being Becca or Shel is a toss up as the person doesn't resemble either's previous design but both do have brown hair so that's something I guess.
And Carlos is trying to keep Sarah out of the loop sure. However, knowing that these guys have been traveling from place to place it's impossible for her not to know something (the way she questions Clem about the bite seems to indicate she's aware of walkers). His concern with Clementine was simply about her manipulating his daughter to do something that undermined the group. That doesn't need to translate into him never allowing her to defend herself (it's a possible scenario) is all I'm saying.

I do think that Carlos is trying to keep her isolated, mainly because of the way he says, "If she knew how bad it was, she would... cease to function."
It's a possible scenario, sure, but Carlos has to have been keeping her away from things, at least a little bit, so even in the case of self-defense, why would she be out there with everyone else with a rifle?
I do agree with you on everything else though, and I'm not trying to contradict you, more so just trying to say maybe it's less likely than it seems you have said it to be.

Maybe andy/danny are shooting at The Cabin group and they notice Clementine. Then as soon as they take off their helmet or somethig BAM! Shot in the face.
I would think this would be a funny cameo/easter egg if you let either one live in ep 2 s1
Seems unlikely, what reason would they have to head North? If Andy survived(even if you spare Danny, he's basically dead), wouldn't he be back up to his cannibalistic tendencies back down in Georgia?
I am thinking maybe we will see a st. John cameo.

True, it does lead to Pete having died... But then again, Scott Porter may just be trying to avoid spoilers. We can't really know.
I wonder what happened to Troy?
I'm of the opinion that it's Sarah but now that I think of it again, maybe they simply used Sarah's model as a placeholder for a 400 days character. That would make sense since they probably want us to be surprised when they eventually show up.
Looks like Becca to me (credits to Michael7123)
It doesn't really look like Sarah. She's too tall, no glasses, the unknown person has shorter hair, different cloths... I'm really not sure why people seem to think it's Sarah. Despite the fact that she looks nothing like Sarah, there's one more thing. Why would she be fighting walkers if Carlos is trying to keep her isolated from everything?
It could very well be Becca as well. Either way, we're seeing the episode itself in a few days, so we'll find out then, and even if it's Becca, it confirms the same thing, that 400 Days characters will be in E2.
Maybe, yeah I agree.
I am thinking maybe we will see a st. John cameo.
I don't know much about this group but Clem's old group seemed like a stronger one and look what happen to them.
If there is one person I think would make it back alive out of the old group it would be Lilly, she is tough as nails.
True, I just thought it would be an interesting / coincidental encounter. I was suggesting it wouldnt be a huge role. And it would be a completely different scene if you killed them both in s1
Luke: "uh, clem did you know that guy?"
clem: "i wish i hadn't..."
