Well, that gun wasn't fake, because the guy was so on drugs that he pulled the trigger and gun went off. It didn't hit me but I ran like a fucking usain bolt to the cover and called the police. If same thing happens to me in ZA I wouldn't survive because there wouldn't be police helping me.

You was scared so you didnt really think right( i suppose) Whatever i do is like calculating the time i need… more to get out and his speed and all, taking a good look at the gun it could be fake. Sometimes fear safes you yeah i agree. But sometimes fear takes people over and then they end up dead anyway..
I think it's possible,but it won't be devastating,since people are well educated for dealing with that from movies and video games,if it's happened,it'll only last for a few days,after that people will return to their normal activities
I wouldn't say impossible. I'd say the chance of it NOT happenining in our lifetime is astronomically high, but then so were the chances of a huge Pan Global War followed by an epidemic worse than the black death were astronomically low this time 100 years ago.

Yeah well from the moment i was born i think i learned to fight for my self not rely on others. And yeah im happy you got off safe but honestly i just would have beated up that guy, its a higher chance to survive then just run especially since a shotgun had high speed and big damage. But yeah everybody is different after all.

Okay, im sorry but i dont fully understand you. Where are you from? To get back to the point since i understand some of it: Fear also brings andrealine with it. It makes you much stronger, personally i like fighting so yeah.. And it also depends on the kind of shotgun. You know those shotguns that blow the bullets into small pieces? And then there are 4 bullets fire at once you will be hit with a small surviving chance. That is what i mean with strategic, you gotta have a good acknowledge of weapons and then decide what you do.

To answer to ceaserMartinez, it was a Pump Action shotgun, and yes I should have beat the guy, but I panicked when the shotgun went off ,because the bang was so fucking loud.

If it were to happen like it is depicted in those medias (what you called educated) then yes. But the chances of it happening differently are much higher than it happening as proposed in ways we have already seen. (Both are, of course, extremely unlikely.)
