Sorry to be negative but...

I just feel episode 2 is going to be a let down. It will most likely be a crappy 1 hour and a half ep again and all this waiting will be for nothing.

I hope im wrong though

Being short doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna be crappy

Nope episode 2 will have three settings which are:

    *House in woods/Shed 5 Scenes

    *Train Tracks 5 Scenes

    *Mountain ski Lounge 5 Scenes

So I'm guessing this episode will have at least 5 scenes for each part which is probably an 1hr 30Mins lolz. From the pics and the trailers they gave us these are the only settings that we will be in episode 2 it seems...

  • We get a trailer this week so the episode might be longer. I just hope it's not rushed like wolf part two was XD. It did feel rushed but it was still good

It's gonna be awsome...i have legit proof for that!

  • What they didn't show in the trailer was what forced them out of the house in the first place. Here's hoping it's something awesome rather than a calculated decision to get away from the various dangers, other groups, zombies and such. The beginning of episode three comes to mind.

And please God, arm Clementine. Give her the power of insta-death. It's time, God. It's time.

You shall never see your precious Kenny again. Mwahahahahahahah :B

Still, I highly believe that no matter how horrible this episode will be, I will just be glad that I can finally know the TYWD person's identity and lay that life-ruining curiosity to rest.

At this point I could very well believe that Telltale actually intended to have the TYWD person to NOT be Kenny nor Lilly. Bearing witness to the war the mystery is waging in the forums, they panicked and had to change the reveal, having to redo everything from the revelation point forwards in fear of the Kenny and Lilly armies pointing their weapons at Telltale.

Just kidding. They would not do something like that. ...Right?

  • SURE they wouldn't.

  • They need to stop cutting the times down.

I can't see it being disappointing from a story level, but I'll be disappointed if it's short.

The first one had a reason to be short and most of the conversations on rails.

This one needs to have a hub where you can chill and start to build relationships with the characters, sp far we know nothing about them.

Episode one was short, but still felt like it was part part of a well made whole.

Like I've said before episode 1 felt like a pre credits intro, and got me stoked for this one.

Just hope it isn't the same length.

    Defo no shorter.

  • Ep 5 had that short section in the attic as well, not so much a hub, that was more like the conversation model from S2 Ep1 now that I mention it, but Ep 5 was mainly all action, so those parts needed to be brief.

I'm pretty sure Ep 2's gonna have more character interactions though, yeah, a couple of hubs and some extra optional conversations are always welcome.

I have faith i Telltale and i really hope they wont let us down and deliver a good long episode.

Just because an episode is short, doesn't mean it's not good.In fact,it makes you want the next more and probably gives the staff the opportunity to make the story better and the graphics, too, and it leaves you with a cliffhanger, probably.I dunno.I have Faith(see what i did there,TWAU players?) in TTG.I'm positively in LOVE with their games, because they are unique and special, and i'm feeling lucky that i got to try them. And i'll support them to the end.

  • But for the wait we've been given for this one, it would be reasonable that the episode would be long.

  • If the episodes sucks

Tom cruise - Walking dead fans

    matthew mcconaughey - Telltale representatives

    Flaming dragon - Telltale

  • You seriously need to be more optimistic. I don't really see the point of someone to be in a forum based on Telltale if they're only going to complain about an eventful episode being a let-down.

  • edited February 2014

Maybe. But you can't deny the fact that the first episode was great, and you have to take into account the fact that TTG is working on more than one series at the moment.TWD,TWAU,that Game Of Thrones upcoming series...
so they have a lot on their plate and maybe we should just appreciate their episodes, see their good sides and less their bad sides. The people put a lot of effort into them,i bet.So i'm just gonna close my eyes to the possible bad sides(that,i must say, aren't that many,i think) and enjoy the games.I think everyone should.

  • I'm sure the episode we'll be good. Don't worry.
