Wait so will Telltale stop making TWD games anytime soon?
Because these games are ridiculously compelling and fulfilling. Without exaggerating, The Walking Dead Game has been the most enjoyable piece of art that I have ever experienced.
Seriously, it is an incredible emotional venting mechanism, you get to feel all of these feelings all at once, while also internally debating some pretty hefty ethical/moral issues that the game plagues your mind with.
Anyway, seriously, at what point does Telltale stop making TWD games? Because I would be truly sad the day that they stopped being produced, and I don't see any way for them to end Clementine's story that doesn't either leaves us feeling like we have unfinished business (cliffhanger) or feeling completely like shit forever (if she dies I mean).
I'm assuming sometime soon at the very least their writers will start getting slightly bored and will need to mix up the release schedule with some Sam and Max replacing Walking dead seasons every second year or so.

I hope they will stop the game at some point. I could live with a third Season, but there will be a point where things will be getting pointless and predictable. Aslong as they are able to keep up the high quality of the game, i will enoy playing it.

As long as this game keeps generating so much Cash they have no reason to stop making it, We love it And pay for it so the real question is: Do you want Clementine to be the franchise protagonist for seasons to come or do you prefer changing the main characters every now and then ?
For what it's worth, Telltale made three seasons of Sam and Max (much more niche than Walking Dead), so I could easily see them carrying on Walking Dead's story as long as they have more interesting stories to tell.
However, I'm only a community mod, so I know as much as you all do.
Only if they can continue to write an interesting story. If the writers get together early this season to think of an ending that can connect to season 3 and they honestly can't do it, then that's it. I would much rather a story end on it's peak then end because it's becoming such a slog that it HAS to end.

Season 27 Clem must fight off zombies with her walking stick but can she still make it to safety before her electric wheelchair runs out, If they keep time jumping this is possibility think any game can go stale even top quality Cod,Assassin creed etc after number of releases but number of game selection i'd be happy with 3 class seasons then look into another game like silent hill or dark knight(hope telltale buy) just to freshen things up if like naughty dog telltale only make games when there's quality story to tell not milk it sure. Wolf Among Us proved to me telltale can tell great story using any game as platform so when twd series is finished not game over.

It needs to have a conclusion at some point. I would like a third Season too though. But I'm sure a majority of you know the longer something stays it's welcome, it begins to outstay it's welcome.

Walking dead is one of the biggest series of telltale games,a biggest success and also the game of the year.a most selling series ..so they never stop it ..NEVER EVER..because they know that the walking dead is one of their biggest project ever..
I think there needs to be a Season 3 where you play as Kenny.
I could see going beyond the second season, but I'd hate to follow the formula of the comics where it's meant to continue indefinitely.
400 Days shows that they can pick up with new stories in the same setting, but I hope it'd be done because of legitimate interest in doing so, and not to wring the series dry.

Since the amazing comics has been around since 2003 (That's 11 years holy shit) i don't see why TTG's version could not continue, i mean even IF Clementine dies at some point, we could always go for focus on another group, or someone that has still been around for a long period of time and make him the protaganist for season 3/4 and swtich them out. Yes Rick has been the protaganist for 11 years but i don't see why we couldn't continue a story anyway, i mean our previous protaganist died and Clem became the new one, but it's still possible to make anyone else be it. Because what we seek is the setting in the games, and how they feel. A story can always be branched and continued as long as it doesn't get repeteitve. Also every season could have it's own kind of ending, just like the TV-series finish their seasons with an ending and a small cliffhanger and the same way the comic book volumes do the same. In that case we wouldn't feel to bad to start a new season or to stop where we are. Also as Mikejames said, with the 400 days they proved that they can create the same setting but with new people and stories, however 400 days felt kind of short and messy and i feel like we need a group to start with, not several people and follow everyone's personal viewpoint.

Sorry to say but considering the fact that they're going to be starting Game of Thrones later this year, a "multi-year, multi-title" deal, this second season might be the last that we see of The Walking Dead, at least for a while.
TBH I see it ending with Season 2. If it does come back it won't be till late 2015/early 2016 because of TFTB/GOT.
