It would be nice to have some canned food and instant meals stocked up so you won't have to rely too much on hunting. Crossbows and Machetes are good weapons to use too, also some coats in case it got cold. If i could be able to stay sheltered for a while i don't think guns would be necessary.
Hope, although its not a physical object, it would be the most valuable thing. It would be my first priority because if you dont have hope...whats the point of living? You dont just give up, you gotta fight and hope for the best.
Just kidding, a nuclear bomb and a godlike stache is all I would need.
Well said
(On both points )
thx
Vaj. Not even kidding.
Food, Companions, Weapons and Willpower.
Food,Water,Weapons,Ammo,A group to protect you,a car,And most importantly.... Saltlicks !!!
What about clothes?
I swear to god I was gonna add that and a safe place but I was like nah fuck it, You beat me to it Bro
Clothes are optional in the apocalypse
Assuming you don't have a Doomsday Preppers level fortification:
Machete, Crowbar, multitool, swiss army knife, pistol with silencer (probably .22 is best since it's common ammo), automatic weapon (preferably something with little kick and common ammo), (food and water - duh), seeds, warm clothes, a car....
And DUCT TAPE.
This.
Especially the duct tape.
And the seeds. Someone make sure we have the seeds
As long as I have all the aforementioned stuff I can Live with changing clothes twice a years Lol :P
You're right about duct tape. DUCT TAPE is all-purpose use.
Rick Grimes on the show feels the same. Did you see his shirt?
Yeah he's had it for a while but he doesn't have time to change clothes since he has to put up with Carl's shit all day
Cooorrrlll!!
Wrap it round your forearms, they can't bite through
What an annoying stupid dumb little... Okay Im gonna stop he is a kid no matter how much we don't like him :P
Crisis averted.
Heck I'd wrap my pants and a hoodie with it too.
The main thing in a ZA is 'multipurpose items' - machete, swiss army knife, and crowbars - multipurpose weapons, multitool - multipurpose tool, duct tape - the ultimate multipurpose item.
I think in an emergency you could do a lot worse than wrap up yourself in duct tape, I can't see a walker chewing through it, at least not quickly.
If you taped a couple of phone books to your arms and legs that would provide even more protection.
Raid a hospital and a military base.
Do you guys ever go out of your room?
Clothes not important or even optional. LOL. Clothes would be the most important thing. First thing i would try to find is the best possible combination of clothes. Something that zombie could not easily bit trough and i could wear it or modify for a lot of variety of weather and different temperature. TV shows, games are the worst at showing importance of clothes in any kind of situation. Germany lost a world war because they didnt have suitable clothes when they attacked Soviet union and they had the most advanced weapons at the time.
Gun as important? LOL. People makes mistakes all the time. If you play basketball. Hitting the basket from a close distance is easy right? So try to hit it 20 or 50 times without a miss. Even professional basketball players misses all the time. The same with guns. If you ever fire a gun you know it very hard to be precise even in the close range. Now imagine your life is in danger. Your whole body is shaking, wind is blowing, maybe is all this happening under poor light conditions on weird ground where you dont have a proper balance. Shooting a gun is delicate thing and only for a close range and not precise. And if i mention that guns can easily fail you. They get broken like any other thing. They are almost useless against zombies. Guns are good against us because our bodies vulnerable. With zombie only headshot counts. I would not have one. Much better choice is a some kind of hunting rifle. Is precise doesnt weight too much and you can use it for hunting animals. My main weapon for a close combat would be some kind of club. You dont have to be precise it lasts a long time and doesnt get stuck as sharp weapons.
All of this is useless because zombie apocalypse would not happen and this is a game forum where we are having fun but even here try to use brain once in a while.
Yes clothes are definitely important, I love how you made WW2 as an example. I'd say full body armor and walkers can't get to ya...duct tape works too XD
Guns ARE important except that it should only be used as last resort, and that's where most people make mistakes. Some are reckless and tend to go outside and shoot every zombie in the head (this is called gamer mentality). Guns can definitely blow your ass off, but with practice, recoil can be reduced. So don't say that guns aren't important cuz they really are.
Take a quote from Uncle Pete:
"Any idiot with a finger can pull the trigger" -Pete
Obviously clothes are important -_-
Agree about guns, though, for me mainly because of the noise. I'm a pretty good shot, but you're right, unless you practice a lot (and even then, moving targets are unpredictable) headshots aren't easy to pull off at the range on a moving target, let alone under the stress of combat.
The noise is my biggest issue with firearms. Unless you're seriously outnumbered or about to be bitten, it's a bad idea cause you'll only draw more Biters.
I'd carry a sidearm for last resorts (or people, lets not forget them) like if I was corned by multiple walkers in a place where I couldn't disengage and get distance, (a lot of bites could be avoided if people would just back up and get range again when they get too close).
I'm also surprised no ones mentioned meds.
Antibiotics would be worth more than gold.
Agree with both of you. True about antibiotics . I would probably get some book about herbs. And keep antibiotics if things gets really serious.
1 Water, whatever kind.
2 Fire.
3 Clothes.
4 Weapon.
You've just survived, enjoy watching everyone die.
Food, firearm, group, water, clean clothes, safe place to live.
Nuclear submarine.
God I hated Carl so much in that episode.
Kennys Mustache is obviously the number one priority for survival in a zombie apocolypse...after that i would think about Water and supplis.
