Ep 2 trailer theory. So, is _____really dead anyway?

So , i have to say , i like that trailer a lot, even though i think ep1 trailer is better , but whatewer.
In trailer to ep2 we see NICK, only NICK . No sign for pete . so is he going to die anyway? if he does i will be a little dissapointed . now i think its just some decision which dont matter anyway. What do you guys think?

    It's worth noting that i think Doug was used in trailers in season 1 with Carley absent, so it's possible that the trailer is simply based of saving Nick. Things certainly weren't looking good for Pete though at the end of episode 1 though. He was bitten and we knew that when making decision,there was always a fair chance he'd die anyway.

    From the way they were talking about Pete towards the end it certainly seems like he's not going to make it :(

    In season 1 trailer 2 and 3 had only Doug and not Carley

    Yea, Pete is just as good as dead. Makes sense. Nick wouldn't be all sad and stuff if not. Think about it. Nick from what we've seen isn't the "sad" "remorseful" type but Pete is going to die and then Nick will really miss him.

    if it happen, the only diffirence will be your relationship with nick , if you save pete , he will be gratefull to you, if you save nick , nick will be angry towards you ,but i think he will forgive you.

    Since we're going to have to help Pete chop his foot off, I assume he's not there because he's resting up.. Either that or they didn't want to show him because it would be sort of a spoiler.

    I immediately thought of Becca at first glance.

    They did say that the 400 days DLC would tie in with this one so anything's a possibility.
