Episode 2 Trailer Analysis
So, I decided to review the trailer for the upcoming episode. I was SO EXCITED that I couldn't resist doing this. Let's start!
First, here's the video. Trailer starts at 2:18.
- 2:18 until 2:24 - Zombies. Not much surprise here.
- 2:24 until 2:30 - Someone knocks on the door. Why in the hell is Clem opening the door to a complete stranger without even having a weapon to defend herself?! And where the fuck is the rest of the group?!
- 2:30 until 2:43 - The man is definetely Carver. He says exactly: "Hello there. 7 of them to be exact. Maybe you've seen them. Couple of farmboys and an old man (Nick, Luke and Pete), Spanish guy and his daughter (Carlos and Sarah), big black guy and a pretty little pregnant lady." Apparently he knows the group. I wonder if his got anything to do with Rebecca being pregnant. Personally, I don't think so, but I guess we'll find out.
- 2:43 until 2:46 - "I'm just saying we've had our differences" Creeeeeepy. This guy's searching revenge, I FEEL IT IN KENNY'S HOLY MOUSTACHE.
- 2:48 until 2:54 - The group is leaving. Sarah is scared boo-freaking-woo.
- 2:55 until 3:04 - I don't know why, but I think Luke is going to step up as Clem's tutor. In the first screenshots of Episode 2, he was the only one that appeared, besides Clementine.
- 3:05 until 3:07 - We see Walter with a knife and there's a new guy, someone with a hoodie and a rifle.
- After 3:07 - We see an insight on Nick and what a great view! And Carlos saved Clem.
So, what do you think will happen? I'm disappointed that the ski lodge group didn't make a bigger appearence, but I'm already hyped. What are your theories for this episode?

7, I believe that is Troy, I can't be sure
Since the Cabin survivors left maybe there's a new group of 7, Carver, the 2 bandits with the itywd character, Troy, the guy with Troy on the slide for ep 2, and another person, the question is who is the other person?
Regarding point 7...
Is that not Sarah with the rifle? Daaamn girl. She has got some brass, already firing them big guns.
Begs the question though. Why would Carlos allow this? Are we possibly able to influence his parenting?
It is not Sarah, no glasses, and I don't think she is taller than her father
Matthew is the guy on the slide, and I'm pretty sure that the seven people he's referring to are Nick, Pete, Luke, Carlos, Sarah, Alvin, and Rebecca.
I know, but he has a new group now right? matthew is the asian guy, walter is the guy with matthew troy is the guy at the door on the teaser and johnny is the guy on the slide with troy
On the point of the zombies, isn't the zombie at the forefront currently lying dead in a Savannah jewellery store from being repeatedly hit on the head by a certain baseball bat? he's out for revenge!!
They might swapped Tory to Carver himself. We'll see a new slide for episode 2 when we'll download it ?
I'm pretty sure Carver is the father of Rebecca's child because it showed her after luke said, "what's the one thing a man will look for in this world" or something along those lines. regarding point 7 I believe it is one of the 400 days characters, because telltale did say to play 400 days before doing this episode and unless one of the ski lodge survivors is a 400 days character I don't see how else they would put those decisions in the episode, however I don't know the episodes plot line.

In the last shot, when Carlos saves Clem from the walkers you can see some snowflakes falling from the sky.

Not sure where you are getting this height argument from, but the character we see appears to be just a little taller than Clementine, just like Sarah. Then again, I suppose I could be mistaken.
Not too sure about the glasses though... She might have lost them in a panic event or... Indeed, I do not have enough evidence to really go deeper into that, I suppose. Also reminds me distantly of Michelle, but she had a red hoodie and rougher hair texture. Not to mention we would probably be able to tell if her skin was that dark.
Can't wait to find out more... The suspense is killing me.
They haven't ever recycled a character, have they? And I doubt it because he is on the slide for EP 2 as well
Didn't noticed that, that would be awesome, we've never seen a walking dead story either in the tv show or in the game, it will be a good change of taste

Well,maybe Troy was just a beta-desing of Carver. 3 months are passed and TTG might changed a lot of things.
That person isn't taller than Carlos. They're further in the background for one (about the same distance away as Clementine) and their face is turned away. I'm going with Sarah for now as well.
Doubt it, because remember the leaked image of Troy? It appeared as though he is where Clem and the rest were when they were leaving the cabin

Except that Carlos won't allow her to carry a gun, and she needs to have a past with guns to know how to shoot with a rifle. Plus there is no glasses, no backpack and that is not the same outfit that she is wearing. That's not Sarah.
Well actually, Episode 5 is set during the winter, judging by the slide.
Not to be a downer but they are at a ski lodge, which tend to be on mountains, mountains tend to have snow on their peaks, just sayin'.
Snow is real death sentence.
I think ANYONE would be able to tell if it was Troy. This character looks NOTHING like him.
Rethinking the approach... Not counting the character's hoodie... Sort of resembles Becca too, huh?
What is with these younger girl characters having such poofy hair, haha? Hard to tell who is who from behind.

Looks like Sarah to me.
Carlos is not wearing his backpack in that scenario anymore either, that does not really say much.
And that is definitely the same hoodie that Sarah is wearing earlier in the trailer. It looks way too similar both in shape and colour. That said, they have commonly reused models in the past. The question is, if it is not Sarah, why exactly did they not choose a more distinct color? Hm.
And plus, Sarah has long black hair, the mystery shooter has short brown hair

It's Becca from 400 days. She's grown up due to the time-skip.
She has a blueish hoodie. The woman here wears a green one. That's not her.

That new "guy" is a girl.I went on youtube and changed it to 720p and you see better,it looks a lot like a girl.
The only comment to make me physically laugh so far. Give this walker a cookie(or brain)!

Are we looking at the same character here? I acknowledge that the character's hair does appear to be mysteriously of a lighter hue than Sarah's, more akin to Becca's, which does indeed puzzle me.
That said, you saw in the preview how tall Troy was compared to Clementine when she answered the door. This character is remarkably shorter and has highly feminine legs.
And the jacket. What are you talking about? Troy's jacket is of quite dark green camouflaged pattern. It does not have a hood of any sort, but instead a collar.
True, but Troy is so far the best lead we have, other than Becca, who makes no sense
I am sorry but I have serious trouble seeing how Troy would be even half as good of a lead compared to Sarah. Such a figure couldn't be possibly of a grown man.
As for Becca, indeed, we can only wait to find out.
