Just finished chapter 1
And I LOVED it! Monkey Island is BACK, ladies and gentlemen, both in body and in spirit. The puzzles, the dialog, the music, the in-jokes, it was all beautiful. And the graphics? Telltale, you have outdone yourselves (I loved the focal length effect).
The only puzzle I couldn't figure out myself was how to get onto the ship, and that's only because I didn't realize you could
The only complaint I had was that I had to reduce the resolution, and even then the mouse pointer lagged a bit.
In a world where Michael Bay rapes our childhood and deludes himself into thinking that we love him for it, it's good to know that some people understand the meaning of the awe, wonder and fun that we grew up with, and can build on that without spoiling it.
