If I play LIS first I probably won't feel like playing TFTBL after since I will probably be in too much tears or shock to do anything else... might play TFTBL a few days after...Don't know if I will be able to hold out saving LIS for second.
Tales because I can fit that in after work! LiS will likely be 4 hours so I'll save that for the following evening and weekend!
If I had the day off and could play both... I think Tales still by a whisker! Mainly because I think jumping from Tale's humour into LiS drama would be easier that the other way around. I think LiS will have me thinking for a while after. I love them both and can't wait!
Probably LiS first because I have the mentality of "save the best for last", if LiS is released late at night the day before like last time I can play the first half then play the other half the next day, then move on to TFTB.
Usually, I have the same mentality as dojo when it comes to saving "the best for last" in different situations, but in my case I'll play Tales first because I just have to know what happens and I like it more. I'll play Life is Strange second, and I'll be treating that episode as the dessert to the main meal that is Tales.
This is a tough choice. I have a feeling that both finales (Most certainly Life is Strange) are going to be emotional. I will probably play Life is Strange and then get cheered up Tales from the Borderlands. Either way, I will probably cry at the end, because it is the end for both of them.

I don't see why there has to be a competition between these two games.

Well, probably life is strange first because it comes out at like 9 pm on Monday, so I would probably play it that night, then Id play Tales tomorrow. But if they do end up coming out the exact same day, Id play Tales first then life is strange because I need to see the conclusion to Tales asap
I will play Tales from the Borderlands first as i am a lot more excited for it, Life is Strange is a decent game but at the moment i have 0 hype for it.
Tales and only Tales, despite how great Episode 4 of LiS was, I just don't like it and am not interested in playing it.
I heard that Dontnod has decided to end Max and Chloe's story once Episode 5 is complete, and that a possible Season 2 would focus on something else, can someone please confirm if this is true or not.
They did mention once about making a story that takes place on the same world and explore some similar themes. By that, I think that means that Max's and Chloe's story ends in episode 5.

Life is Strange first because it comes out in the afternoon for me on the 19th, and then immediately Tales once its out!

Depends on what comes first. I don't mind if TFTB comes before LIS or opposite. Unfortunately, I'll have to play it after I finish my exam, so it will have to wait.

Probably life is strange since I am most excited to play and finish it. Love both games, but I think I like LIS slightly more.
(Ultimately it comes down to whatever one it on the xbox store first and which one gets done downloading first lol)
They haven't 100% confirmed a season 2, but they have confirmed that if there is a season 2 it will have nothing to do with Max or Chloe.
I'll play Tales from the Borderlands first since it'll be a shorter finale than Life is Strange.

Actually, Life is Strange releases for me Monday night (PC) so I don't have to worry about picking between that or Tales.

I played LiS episode 5 first, and that's one choice in my life that i'll never regret. It's purely phenomenal, and rarely any games make me cry.
TFTB, easily. I like LiS, but episode 5 was just a disappointment, won't say more than that because of spoilers.
Easily Tales, no question about it. There were some good moments, but almost everything about that Tales finally was fucking awesome, I can't put it to words how awesome it was.
