Game Cannot be put in Full Screen

I've noticed a strange issue where, upon starting Minecraft: Story Mode, the computer screen goes black as when preparing to start a full-screen game, but then it appears in a tiny window. Going into graphics settings allows me to selected full screen, but it remains windowed, and leave the graphics screen then returning to it has it reset to windowed being selected. Several people on the Steam forums have reported the same problem, but no one has been able to figure out a solution.

    In you're playing on a PC have you tried pressing Alt+Enter at the same time? my game started in a window first and that fixed it.
