Monkey Island Special Edition questions!

Okay, Does anyone know if Monkey Island Special Edition will be available to download just like tales of monkey island? Where we login and it shows if we bought it or not? At the website, it says its for PC digital download...

    Lucasarts announced that the SE will be available through STEAM and other online providers (not Telltale games).

    But will i be able to buy it on a store? I am not am not a fan of buying and downloading.

    A retail erlease is something they will only do if it succeeds well enough as a digital download. Basically, the future of Adventure games from LucasArts rests on the sales of this special edition. And possibly Lucidity(not sure if it's more puzzle/platformer or adventure, I'd have to play it, but it sure looks good either way).
