Why Telltale stores different versions in different shops?
For example Back to the Future:
- Steam: Windows + Mac OS | German + Englisch
- GOG: Windows only | German + Englisch (but with french subtitles)
- Humble: Windows + Mac OS | Englisch only
- Telltale Shop: Windows + Mac OS | Englisch only
Every other game with similar deviations.
Question: Why?
I would purchase the gog version, if there would be a Mac version...

Telltale Games is one of those companies that don't like to issue patches unless the problem affects significant amount of purchasers.
Especially back when their company was definitely way smaller.
As much I like their before the Walking Dead episodic games, those games definitely had their own bugs that they didn't correct due each episode was released as stand-lone.
Yeah, I never purchase a game in the Telltale store. This versions are very out of date and full of DRM crap! It is a shame....
I do not understand why Telltale love this "defragmentation" of their games and updates. 5 different download platforms, 5 different versions... I would try to keep all versions in all shops up to date. So it would be easier to react to posted bugs of the users....
