Story driven games

I'm making a collection of story driven games to play. So far I have Telltale games (obviously), Until Dawn, Lisa, Fran Bow, The Beginners Guide, Undertale, Choice of Robots and Zombie Exodus.
As you can see, I like a lot of game genres, but it has to have a great story.

Any more you can think of?

  • To The Moon, probably one of my favorites.

  • Oh yes, forgot about that one.

  • Well, you know about Life is Strange, right?

  • Yes, I do.

  • Dreamfall Chapters

  • Yes. I would try it out, but I'm rather confused. Do I need to play the Longest Journey to understand Chapters?

    Dreamfall Chapters

  • It is pretty confusing, at least it was for me, if you don't know anything about the previous games and that's why I got bored of it. The choices do matter from what I've seen, like really, but I am just not interested in the story.

  • Okay. It's off my list from now ,then.

  • Valiant Hearts sounds interesting. Already played The Stanley Parable, and those two games I watched on Youtube since they're not on PC.

  • That's the first game trailer that made me cry. I remember watching it when the game was first released.

If you've got a DS/3DS you can play 9 Hours 9 Person 9 Doors. It's a visual novel, so it's very story driven. Also, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is very unique. Both of them may also be on iPhone, but I'm not sure.
    They're both awesome. :D

  • I don't know about 999, but I've played Ghost Trick on my Iphone. It was a great game but I stopped playing cause I couldn't figure out a puzzle. I might give it another chance.

Speaking of Ghost Trick I'd definitely recommend the Ace Attorney series.

Its some app I had to download on my school iPad.

  • Murdered: Soul Suspect.

A lot of people won't agree with me on this one, but I really loved the characters and it honestly made the entire game worth it. Not entirely sure what consoles it's for, but it's at least worth checking out if you're interested.

  • The witcher 2 and the witcher 3. Play on the easiest difficulty if you just want the story.
