The mistery shovel...

Where did it came from?? It was part of the coat?

It would have been better if you ve dropped that shovel somewhere well hidden, so we first have to look for it and pick it up.

Besides a shovel on the inventory is always usefull on adventures games.
Just ask Boston Low!

Well... maybe it's hinting at The Dig. It's like Guybrush brought it with him without telling the player and is then like "you never know when a shovel might come in handy"

Also, it might confuse younger players because the shovel is actually used to patch up a hole, rather than dig.

There should have been a little note stuck to the shovel

"Huh... what's this? Ask me about The Dig?"

Do you really want to know all the stuff Guybrush keeps in his pants, "just in case"?

This, I have to say, was probably the only thing that bugged me about the entire episode.

Actually, I figured it was the same shovel he ripped off the sign at the beginning of MI 2 myself (even if this is logistically impossible). He is sporting the same type of jacket as MI 2 this time around.

Really? Cuz the longer he kept that maleable cheese in his pants, the more disturbed I got.

I think it was a puzzle stuff up. You can see a shovel at the beach, but you can't pick it up.
