How to start the demo when you have the full game

I've heard that the demo has a different ending to the intro. I'd really like to play it to check that out, but unfortunately I can't seem to figure out how to start the demo since I've already registered the full game.
Is there a way to start the demo?
I've tried uninstalling, but that didn't help.

    Go here - http://www.telltalegames.com/monkeyisland

    I haven't tried it...but I assume you would download a different file.

Seems to be the same file as the full game unfortunately.

The only way I can think of is using a friend's computer, one who hasn't already got Tales.

I'd also like to see this. Maybe someone who hasn't bought the game yet could upload the demo ending to YouTube? Please?

There should be a checkbox or something in the launcher to activate demo mode...or a command line parameter.

There are videos of it on youtube already.

I'd still like to try the demo myself, not just watch it on youtube. Not the same.

The playable part is exactly the same. The new content is all video.

The YouTube video was perfectly satisfactory for me. Thanks, Ravey!

Holy crap that youtube video sure was choppy.
I stopped after a few secs. Still hoping there's a way to start the demo.

The Launcher uses an internet connection. For a roundabout way, you could uninstall the game, and then reinstall with your internet connection turned off, thus avoiding the authentication.

The Launcher runs off Internet Explorer I believe, so if you aren't signed into the website or have cookies set to remember you're signed in, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't auto-authenticate then either.

It's not up yet, from what I can tell. Basically, I think the game launcher will contain a link or something to some sort of in-between "meta-game", probably. To make the wait between episodes more bearable.

    Thanks for that link.
Much better quality on that one.
And yeah it was a funny ending, with some funny lines from Guybrush. :)
There should really be a way to acess this "easter egg" from the full version.
