Weird Audio Lag, Crackling and Stuttering issues on PC Minecraft: Story Mode

The Issue:
When playing Minecraft: Story Mode, I sometimes get Audio from the game crackling and stuttering. I am more than sure this is not a PC/Hardware related issue (Music, YouTube and even Minecraft play fine) and I would like a confirmation if this is really a bug, or any steps on how to fix it.
