  • Here, I shall choose one from different mediums.

Literature: Crime and Punishment - by Fyodor Dostosyesky.

Film: The Godfather (I speak for the entire trilogy as a whole).

    Television: Vikings.

Video Games: Red Dead Redemption (I cri everetime).

  • Oh hell yes, you did good mentioning Discworld. The lore and story in that series is amazing and the characters are all so different.

Discworld, Watchmen, LXG, Whedon's Astonishing X-Men. Um... Hamlet? Moby Dick, and it's movie adaptation, Wrath of Khan :P Some TNG.

    • Jurassic Park, the novel and the film. The characters, action, story, and of course the visuals. The very idea of dinosaurs walking among mankind is just such a beautiful and wonderful concept to imagine. Not a lot wrong with it.
    • Se7en, "What's in the box?"
    • The Inferno, just an interesting read and very cool.
  • Not much just looking at stuff. Its nice to see an old bro :)

A police box that travels through time. I think that's a bit cheaty.

  • Sure it would. But they may have to change the name a bit, something like "homeless" might work.

  • People need to read and watch stuff from farther back than just the last decade.

  • This story all about how my life got flip-turned upside-down.

    • Video game wise? Mass Effect. Loved all three of them (except the ending of ME3) I loved all the characters, the gameplay, and the adventure.

    • One of the books that got me thinking was Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl. Her story is fantastic, made me feel a lot and it's crazy to know how that it actually happened.

    • As a television show for me, personally. Doctor Who. It's such an adventure from start to finish. I've laughed, cried, and enjoyed all of both Classic and New Doctor Who.

No other show (that I've watched) has made me think about a scene for a few days. I'm still watching this scene from last Saturday's episode because of how well done it was. I've been sending it to all my friends over the past week just because of how powerful it is.

Doctor Who Series 9 - The Doctor's War

"I am not a good man! I'm not a bad man. I'm not a hero. I'm definitely not a president, and no, I'm not an officer. You know who I am? I... am... an idiot! With a box and a screwdriver. Passing through. Helping out. Learning. I don't need an army. I never have. Because I've got them, always them, because love is not an emotion. Love is a promise." - The Twelfth Doctor, Series 8, Episode 12: Death in Heaven

  • I've got to get back into Doctor Who. I stopped watching after Peter took the reign and I have no idea why, just stopped. I should start watching again.

You definitely should get back into it! Peter Capaldi is absolutely fantastic as The Doctor. He plays the part very very well and I haven't disliked any of his episodes yet except Kill the Moon and In The Forest of The Night.

I believe Series 8 (Capaldi's first season) was recently added to Netflix if you have that.

Novels: The Messenger - Markus Zusak, The Book Thief - Markus Zusak, Great Expectations - Charles Dickens, Mister Pip - Lloyd Jones
Film: The Godfather (Trilogy), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (also haha), Howl's Moving Castle, Casablanca.
Games: Xenoblade Chronicles, Okami, The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead (S1+2), Assassins Creed 3, L.A. Noire, Bastion, the entirety of Halo lore.
    TV: The Walking Dead

...and Kendrick Lamar's album, 'good kid, m.A.A.d city.' I don't really care what people think of me putting a rap album in here, but the story told throughout this album is incredible. Whether or not you enjoy rap, I highly recommend this to those who haven't heard it before, first time i've physically teared up listening to an album. It is a masterpiece of storytelling in my eyes.

  • Like I was saying, Life is Strange has that story that touched my heart like most childhood Disney movies that I've seen.

It gives you an important lesson at the end (Sacrifice Chloe ending) which you don't really understand unless you lose someone you love. I felt so in sync with Max, she almost resembles me personality-wise.

  • All good haha

  • Harry Potter.

It made my childhood, and I'm a 2000's kid.

  • I was on my phone, and I accidentally tapped the reply button.

Anyways, I watched Howl's Moving Castle a year or so ago. It was a very good movie. Have you seen Spirited Away (it's an animated movie like HMC and has similar directors)?

  • The Mass Effect trilogy.

Even the third one, I hate raging ME2 fanboys who still shit on ME3 after all these years for the ending. The journey is all that matters.

All the people I met, all the people I saved, all the people who stood besides me even at impossible odds, that was the important part.

  • Yes, I've seen Spirited Away but prefer Howl's Moving Castle. Both are great movies but.

  • I'm gonna say Kingdom Hearts. Amazing story throughout the whole series. Plenty of sad moments that actually made me cry, amazing characters, and it teaches some really good lessons.
