Hmmm... The trailer only featured footage from the BttF/JP era onward. No Sam and Max, Monkey Island, or Strong Bad. Please tell me the documentary doesn't just skip over Telltale's entire golden age.

Great video. Always fascinating to hear from Telltale staff themselves on the hardships they endured and what they wanted the people to experience from their games.

Loved Job Stauffer's shirt. Hell loved em all.
I really enjoyed this documentary, learning more about Telltale's past just makes me love them even more. I've never played some of their older stuff like, Tales of Monkey Island or Sam and Max but I really want to now.
Good Documentary. Sorry for the lack of Wallace&Gromit.
And a bunch of important guys are missing from the documentary: Dave Grossman, Mike Stemmle, Jake Rodkin, Sean Vanaman, to name few...
My kudos go also to them for what TTG is today.
Yeah I was disappointed about that, but they did cover Season 1, so I guess they figured that was enough. They talked about Sam and Max but didn't give each season it's own thing.
Tales of Monkey Island was my first experience of Telltale's pacing making the cliffhangers unbearable. I loved it, but I remember waiting for months for the other half of a swordfight that never happened.

Plus they all seem like super cool humans.
Oh god, really? I was only introduced to the unbearable waiting during The Wolf Among us really, cause I only played The Walking Dead when it was all out.
So, would you say it's still worth playing? Cause it still seems like a pretty cool game.

As long as you don't mind old school adventure puzzles (or resorting to google), I would say there are very high odds a fan of TFTBL would like Tales from Monkey Island.
The whole premise is lovable dork saves the world from an evil ghost with his girlfriend and his adorkable buddy.

I don't have a lot of time for 30-minute YouTube videos anymore, but I finally just made some and got to watch it!
It was great to see some of the people I've only corresponded with on these forums and to follow Telltale's progress from the early days and what led to the decisions to turn it into the company that it is today!
I still wish you'd make another old-school adventure again one of these days, but you've clearly created something that has entertained and touched a lot of people. Best wishes for the future!

It covers Telltale Texas Hold 'Em and Bone... all the way to Tales from the Borderlands, Game of Thrones, and Minecraft: Story Mode!
Trailer has TWAU, GoT and TWD as well... Those arent old
How long is it overall?
30 minutes & 30 seconds
I'm pretty sure it will be posted on the Complex YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/Complexmagazine/videos
The documentary is now available.

That was a really interesting watch. Cool to see them focus on their older history as well.

That was awesome, sad that TFTBL got a very small mention though.
Job's T-shirt
And Laura's accent so Australian ;Р
She was right.
WarmPuffyRainbows
I was thinking the same thing, feels like Tales got the short end of the stick and was barely talked about, but it was still great.
That was really fun to watch. I didn't actually know they made that skeleton game! I remember seeing it in an old gaming magazine years and years ago.
I loved the Rhys T-shirt ;.;
Grim Fandango? Great game. That, and the other LucasArts games is actually what brought me to Telltale Games in the first place.
That was just for you guys!
WarmPuffyRainbows indeed.
Somebody hug THIS MAN!
Because he's aTellTalesome!
Bring 'Hi!' to Laura from me, please, Job!
And compliment about her cool australian accent!
Thank YOU

Thread: Telltale: Story Mode
A documentary on Telltale Games itself, featuring interviews with the writers at Telltale along with a whole lot of other goodies, seriously watch it:

Its quite a nice resource giving us more information about the history and development of their games.
I really want your shit, Job.
mfw they saying how Wolf was their favorite game and you're just waiting for that season 2

I wish it showed more of the behind the scenes on how the games are being developed.
Its still nice to know what Telltale was like pre-The Walking Dead era.
Reall? TW2 wasn't even mentined......
TW2 wasn't even mentioned
You guys are amazing. Thanks for your awesome games
This whole thing was amazing. Telltale is awesome

Money before what they actually prefer to do. That's how their company works I guess.
I'm pretty sure that they try to get into position where they can also once again produce games to "not so well known" series.

OK, no more description needed for me to play this game. Sounds perfect and I must play it at once!!
