Another animation preview?

The animation for Chapter one was so amazing...

can we have one for Chapter 2: The Siege of Spinner Cay?

Also, Telltale, get the rights to put that animation on the DVD.

PS. I understand if my requests are unfilled due to many factors. And I'm sorry if I sound a little spoiled.

Ah, I think you are talking about the 'I wonder what happens in...' animation.

Yeah, that one. I realize it was fan made and not Telltale made, but I really think that Telltale should try to get it on the DVD as an Easter egg. I realize there is legal mumbo jumbo, but still, I can dream can't I?

Well, I kept trying to contact him for the last few days and talk about another animation. Aparently he's gone somewhere or he's very busy... either way, as soon as we settle something we'll let you guys know.
Regarding the animation on the DVD... being fan-made, we have no legal rights over it, mainly because we are using someone else's IP. Legally speaking, Telltale has the full right of using that animation. :)

    Uh - actually not.

Just because you haven't licensed the Monkey Island IP from Telltale (or Lucasarts) doesn't mean your work automatically becomes theirs; if they don't like it they can force you to cease distribution of it, but they can't just take it and do whatever they want with it.

On the other hand, of course, you're free to give them each and every right to use it as they see fit - but that doesn't happen automagically... :)

Oh, I see... my bad then. :) I should go investigate this legal thingie.
    Thanks for correcting me! :D

    Off-Topic: How's the mix going?

I'm afraid I haven't even started as I'm still installing my software - 15 DVDs (2 for Cubase, 1 for KORE 2, 12 for Komplete 5) take some time to drop onto an unsuspecting hard drive... :)

I'm not even sure how much time I'll have until next weekend, which is when my 2 week holiday starts. But at least Street Fighter IV won't be a problem for the time being as Games for Windows Live (ick) crashes upon being initialized, so that's one fewer major distraction for now... :D
