Look at the reception of Tales compared to GoT...
If you look at both the sections, GoT is getting a lot of critisim while Tales is swimming along fine

Not really, everyone has different tastes. I love GOT I can see why Tales gets a better response, even though I don't like it.
Two different audiences, though I'd say there's a quite a few that love or enjoy both.
Nope nothing odd, GoT deserves all the criticism. GoT was the weakest TT game to me by far, while tales beat them all out of the ballpark.
I can kind of see why.
When I try to write a plot, it ends up being somewhat comedic and while I can do a serious plot, it isn't really in my area of expertise.
So, their writers are likely a way better of doing those kind of plots and then it reflects in their GoT where they can't really do that to be faithful to its source material.
I don't understand why it gets all the criticism. Episode 6, while weak in areas was still miles better than A Nest of Vipers imo. Overall I'd even say GOT is better than TWD S2 and TFTB (Even though it had a better last two episodes) but still falls short of TWD S1 and TWAU
No I don't find it odd considering Tales was actually great and well written
I object to that. Wolf was just as great as Tales in my opinion.

Personally I enjoyed Game of Thrones Episode 5 the most of almost every other Episode TTG has made, it's all about opinion, some like it and some don't, it's never a fact that one is better than the other.
I loved Tales, but I prefer Game of Thrones. I always liked the more serious types of games, but for what Tales is, it was perfect.
