"Captain America: Civil War" Teaser Trailer released

I'm usually not much of a Superhero person, but even I enjoy the MCU movies. I saw that the teaser trailer for Civil War was released last night, and thought I'd share it here. It comes out this upcoming May.

1:21 Martin Freeman in a suit looking at Cap

    1:51 Black Panther

1:52 SCARLET WITCH CAN FLY MOTHERFUCKERS

1:59 Looks like Bucky is pissed and if you look at what he's saying, it seems like "STEVE IS DEAD"- that's interesting.

2:04 Poor Rhodey...but would they really give his death away in the first trailer?

    2:08 Da Feelz...

  • The absence of Ant Man, Vision, etc in the trailer makes me wonder where they are going to turn up at. However, I'm not too surprised they held off on Spiderman for now.

  • Vision is also suppose to be in the movie. I think they simply just not showing these characters yet.

  • So they're putting Civil War in Captain America's story? I'd prefer it separate.

  • Well, I feel like they wanted the trailer to just focus on Captain America, maybe in later trailers we'll see it focus on Iron Man instead.

  • Yeah, I know. That's why I was wondering when they'd show up in eventual trailers.

  • I'm pretty excited for this, even though the previous multi-character story on this level suffered due to putting too much in the film at once.

However, even though this has a ton of characters in it (and likely has a lot more that aren't revealed yet, as it's storyline will affect all of the MCU), hopefully it will be enjoyable on the level of the first Avengers film, as Avengers: Age of Ultron suffered from shoehorning unnecessary bits to foreshadow future movies. This one seems like this one shouldn't as it's events will be what cause the events of Phase III, so the movies after this should refer to events from this film, rather than this film referring to the future (like how so many films and series refer to the events in Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but neither of those films suffered from unnecessary foreshadowing). I'm sure it will have a ton of references to past events, but that shouldn't be a problem if it's handled well, since most audience members should have at least a vague idea of past MCU events.
