Sam and Max Season 1 DVD Problem

I got my Season 1 DVD in the mail today. I'm trying to install it but every time I click the "Install Game" it just sits there and won't let me click on anything else in the window. The computer is working but nothing ever happens even after almost 15 minutes. I also tried the alternate route of exploring the DVD and choosing setup. Sometimes Vista will ask me for permission to allow or deny setup.exe but after I allow it nothing happens.
