Fan Involvement in the TT Games' Stories??
I have a question for Telltale... Its just something i've been thinking about... I was wondering if any fans on these forums, their comments, their discussions have ever made a difference in the story of one of their games or if it gave the writers some ideas that ended up in the game... It doesnt have to be some major thing, even like a little detail counts...

It may just be a little bias from me but I feel like without the main shipping threads in the Tales forum romance definitely wouldn't have taken up as much of a role in Tales as it did, and I feel like the choice where Rhys and Fiona are standing by the portal at the end is kind of proof of that.
Telltale frequently talks about how they spend a little longer on episodes to incorporate changes from fan feedback on the forums as well as social media, so the answer is definitely yes. Of course, they don't make broad and sweeping changes to the overall plot, but they do make minor and/or moderate changes to the plot.
Walking Dead: Season 1 spoilers below:
For example, with Season 1 of Walking Dead, they changed various scenes to include Clementine whereas they had not before (so players would have to think about how their choices impacted her), and they also revised various character scenes with people like Duck or Larry to make them more sympathetic to players - or, in Ben's case, less sympathetic so people would be more tempted to abandon their morality and drop him on the tower. They even added more scenes with Carley in Episodes 2 and 3 so people would be more attached to her before they killed her off.
Tales from the Borderlands spoilers below:
As Green said, they also added in a romance sub-plot with Rhys and Sasha around Episode 3 to appeal to people on social media and the forums who shipped those two.
Game of Thrones: Season 1 spoilers below:
In an interview with Kevin Bruner about Game of Thrones: Season 2, Kevin alluded to the fact that they revised some of the plot in the final two episodes to give players influence. He implied that normally, the fates of Mira, Asher, and Rodrik were set in stone, but that they decided to put the well-being of those three into the hands of players.
I still believe that @nohuhhuh 's fan art of Gortys are the reason why she is so adorable and lovely in episode 3.
Can't speak to the other changes you mentioned, but the Ben changes you mentioned were in response to playtesters, not online discussions.
Their changes in game of thrones made it from 9/10 -6/10 at least for me.
