Spoiler: Strange hot spot

There is a strange tiny hot spot

behind the wind machine called something like "strange socket"

. It even has a camera move but there is nothing there to see. I think it was only there when you first arrive.

Anyone else notice this?

I figured it out. It was the

tiny hot spot and animation for the Weather Vane socket available before the key was used. The animation played but the face puzzle was retracted.
