* 'possible' SPOLIER* Guess the woman at the end?

Now, there may already be a thread for this. But meh. :)

Basically I'm guessing that the woman at the end of the game could 'maybe' be Carla.

Firstly, due to the huge cutlass. Her being a sword master and all.

Secondly, she hates Guybrush for repeatly taking her off to Monkey Island and leaving her.

Thirdly, the voice is female.

But yeah, :) Any other guesses are welcome. I've forgotten most of the earlier game plots, so any other guesses are welcome :)

PS: I hate this episodic layout. Why not just release the whole game as one like all the other MI's?

    I thought of the Swordmaster too. I don't remember any other suitable (female) candidates from the past games, although it might also be a completely new character (after all, this episode introduced plenty of new characters too).

    Carla has a cushy government job on Melee Island. Why would she be waiting around for Guybrush on Flotsam Island? Also, isn't Leilani Jones-Wilmore doing Carla's voice in SoMI SE? I thought I remembered reading that somewhere, though now I can't seem to find anything about it.

    My guess was Carla, for basically all the same reasons. However, I have yet to play Escape (but I will before Episode 2) so I don't know if she pops up in there at all.

    In EfMI, without getting too specific, *Minor Spoiler* Guybrush gets Carla a cushy government job in order to get her to join his crew and the last you see of her is when you all safely return to Melee Island.

    I also immediately thought of Carla, then I tried to think of a different suggestion which lead me to realise how few female characters there actually are in the series, especially considering pirates' love of the female of the species! ;)

    The only other female characters I can think of are Elaine, the Voodoo Lady (all games), Mrs. Threepwood (Revenge... although she was a hallucination and later a skeleton) and Minnie Goodsoup (Curse... she was a ghost)!

    The final option (and the most likely) is Kate Capsize (Revenge).

    Maybe she's gonna be a totally new character... maybe a long lost Threepwood sister! :p

    Oh, and I love the episodic style, it's definitely gonna keep me hooked on the story! :D

    As it only shows the sword as well I think that re-inforces the fact it 'may' be Carla due to her skin tone. Cause if they showed her arm it would just really give it away (if it is her).

    You know how we could find out if it's Carla or not? Just find out who's playing Carla in SoMI:SE and what she sounds like. I thought I heard it was Leilani Jones-Wilmore and that doesn't sound anything like her.

    listening to carla in the SMI:SE playthrough she sounds nothing like the voice at the end. definately kate IMO. She has more of a motive, we dont know her voice and 'i've been waiting a long time for this' makes more sense as Guybrush saw carla in EMI

    (most of this speculation has been discussed on the thread above anyway)

    Naturally I thought Carla, until i remembered that we silenced her with the cushy government job. Then i thought Kate Capsize...but I can't remember enough about her character.

    I reckon its a male character, or....Elaine. She has left a monkey, dressed as Elaine with Le Chuck, yeah i don't know

    I think you're onto something! we have a motive. The same pirate who took his hat killed Jojo Sr. Once he finds out it was guybrush who left Jojo sr on that tree for 20 years.... bollocks to that, its Jojo sr! definately legitamate beef there and 'Ive been waiting a long time for this' starts to make alot of sense
