WALL-E game in the spirit of W&G

I think Disney's WALL-E would make for a good adventure game in the same vein as Wallace & Gromit (especially Gromit since he doesn't talk and WALL-E doesn't do more than beep or hoot). The idea of moving/driving WALL-E around in an adventure game appeals to me :-) While I think the film could be adapted into a game, I think a new, original plot would be more fun to play.
