I'm surprised no one has said Undertale yet. It's a cool game with a great cast of characters and an even greater soundtrack. Plus it has a lot of puns ;)

Lifeline is another cool choice game (it's only on ios though).

  • Obviously most of you have either heard of or played The Witcher 3 by now - if you haven't played it, however, you definitely should.

Also, play The Witcher 2 if any of you get the chance. The game is even free on the Xbox 360 up until February 5th - what are you waiting for? Download it if you don't own it already!

  • The Long Dark. Pretty good Early access game on Steam. Looks nice, survival is pure EVIL, and great replayability. Also, a Story mode patch is coming soon.

I only recently got this. Like a week ago. So, I'm still in my hype mode. Research before you buy. Also, It's on sale on Humble Bundle right now.

  • I feel like I'm the only one who liked the Game of Thrones game... The Asher sections annoyed the hell out of me, but besides that I thought it was pretty good. I actually really like the Mira sections, that was where my paranoia level was at the top.

In no particular order. * OxenFree- Funny and pretty cool game...can be scary for some * The Wolf Among Us - Awesome story and bad ass

  • @Sarangholic OMG SAME FOR ASHER AND MIRA

If you have a Ps4, there is no reason for you to not download this game.

  • Well, GoT was very good up until I think episode 4 for me. The first episode was really good and what happened at the end was unexpected. After that it kinda kept going downhill which was something I wasn't expecting. The last episode made me interested in the next season mostly because it will determine if the first season was actually good.

For me it seemed like the first season was like the whole big set up for a season two. If season two doesn't branch out like it seems like it should(i mean come on TTG). Then i probably will just drop it completely.

If you have a Wii U, I'd recommend Xenoblade Chronicles 1 (on the eshop, because it's probably cheaper than what a retail copy still goes for, there is also a New 3DS port) and X. They are both damn good JRPGs, imo, and both of their worlds are huge (especially in X) and beautiful, with great design for the creatures as well. There are aspects in which 1 is better than X, and vice versa. I'd say the story is better in 1, but at the same time, I was more interested in some of the plot points that popped up in X. There is an issue with this game's story, but if I go into detail, I'd just be spoiling it.

I will say that a lot of the side quests are much better in X, imo. A lot of them have actual little side stories and some even spawn quest chaind. Some of them you can even determine the fates of NPCs, plus you'll start seeing new citizens in NLA through some of them and be able to buy new gear too.

Oh, and how could I forget about the booties.

  • Agreed, it's a shame that Telltale probably has no plans for BTTF S2.

I was really surprised by this game, the first two episodes were a little slow but the final three episodes were amazing:

  • Shadow of the Colossus, ICO, and Journey. They're all really unique, good games.

  • And like rogue-likes. I really really wanted to like this game, but I just really don't like rogue-likes. Even Neo Scavenger which is awesome, I played and died enough times until I got a relatively decent character, so I got so scared I was just going to die and have to start all over.

Don't Starve, one of the most addicting fun games if you know the basics.

  • Watch Dogs. A joy to sit through.

I'd recommended playing more of the 'artistic' games like Journey, Flower, Flow, Entwined, Okami HD, Rain etc. I feel they are a unique experience, play Tokyo Jungle if you want to play as animals :3

Here's one. Alan Wake. It's a good episodic horror game (no choices.) with some shooter elements. And when I mean shooter, it is really just shooting baddies. Nothing else like some special ability or upgrading... It's pretty good. The faces are a bit strange but it's alright. Look for yourself. (You may have already seen this as it came out on PC in 2012, but I've only had it for about a year, so... if you've never seen it, take a look!)

From Remedy, the Masters of Cinematic Action, comes a 3rd person action game filled with overwhelming odds and desperate near escapes.

When the wife of the best-selling writer Alan Wake disappears on their vacation, his search turns up pages from a thriller he doesn’t even remember writing. A dark presence stalks the small town of Bright Falls, pushing Wake to the brink of sanity in his fight to unravel the mystery and save his love. With the body of an action game and the mind of a psychological thriller, Alan Wake is a pulse-pounding thrill ride. Out Now for Xbox360 and PC.

    Get it on Steam! http://store.steampowered.com/app/108710/

  • I know you wrote this comment a while now but I just noticed it and I couldn't resist to reply.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that really liked the Mira sections and the Game of Thrones game (which I think it's actually one of Telltale's best games). In my opinion, the Mira sections were 'meh' in episode 1 but in episode 2 and later, they became very interesting. However, I'm kinda unsurprised that you were annoyed by the Asher sections, because I've seen everyone liking them.

  • Shit man. I love Alan Wake. If I were to make a list of the most underrated games, this would be somewhere in the top 5. My only real criticicsm of is that its gameplay is repetitive as hell, but compared to its pros, its one con seems like a major nitpick.

  • The Sims. You make a sim and then do whatever you want with them.

  • Get the free extended Mass Effect 3 cut. It'll spare you an overly disappointing ending.

  • Jade Empire, it's probably my second favorite game ever. My dad introduced it to me and I thought I would never play it until I gave it a try. I just loved it.

  • Well I just finished Danganronpa and I'd definitely recommend it.

  • Yeah, that's the one problem I had. The episodes were all structured in the basic same way. Story-->Forest fight-->Story. (Or some story bits in the middle of the forest.) And it is because of this that I'm excited for Remedy's next game, Quantum Break. I'll totally buy it on PC. Good story, choices, some cool scripted live-action segments? Really interesting.

  • Rise of Flight: The First Great Air War. The first computer I ever bought that could handle high graphic settings at HD resolutions was because of this game.. back in 2009. Even Today it's a beautiful to look at game. So loved by it's fans that a small band made a song dedicated to it even.

Honestly, there is nothing like playing a flight simulation in which the aircraft are literally made of wood and fabric. You could do things not possible in WWII mono planes, let alone modern day military aircraft until thrust vectoring came about. Same fans are so dedicated that they make real replicas of vintage cockpits just to play in for the authenticity of it. lol

  • You are doing yourself a diservice if you don't play Fire Emblem Awakening or Fire Emblem Fates. Both those games are amazing and fun. Both fire emblem games are addicting. I'm currently playing Birthright and I am addicted great gameplay, decent story, and fun and interesting characters. I love marrying off every character lol

  • Now I just have to wait for 2 to get to Steam.

Alan Wake: Gameplay is repetitive as hell, but it has a very eerie atmosphere and a creative storyline.

FEAR: Underrated FPS. Has great level design, intelligent AI, and excellent use of horror elements. Its story is a bit tough to follow but its fun overall.

  • Hmm

    • Every Witcher game, despite having different stories each one is amazing tbh. The first game is kind of outdated I guess but that's easily forgotten when you have an amazing story. 2 is just amazing and 3 is more than amazing
    • Mass Effect 1-3. My favorite game series ever. The characters just seem so real and it seems like real friendships.
    • Hotline Miami 1 and 2. Fast paced gameplay that just feels really gratifying.
    • Spec-Ops: The Line. Want a game that really fucks with your mind all the way through. You play Spec-Ops. It's got a really phenomenal story and Walker is just an interesting character to play. There's nothing you really say without spoiling what makes this game amazing. "Do you feel like a hero yet?"
  • great idea for a game is to pick up where full metal alchemist brotherhood ended which i loved the ending but i deeply miss the characters and there an easy enough way to bring them back and still follow continuity spolier alert it ended with the main characters going to explore the other countries of there world and Edward unable to use his alchemy. simply have Edward be kidnapped due to his inability to fight back. maybe even by a different Homunculus brewed up by a different world leader. and then of course Alphonse would need to go rescue him. this was probably one of the best animie ever and would make such a great game

  • I loved Operation Genesis! I spent so many hours in Plan B just watching the animals roam around and rooting for certain ones to live.
