Game will not work on Steam

I have Windows 10 Home (64 bit).

Story Mode isn't working anymore. It was working just fine about a week ago but now, when I try to open it in Steam the game will either:: 1. Open to a black screen, then close itself in a second, or 2. Open to a white box at the top left of the screen, and stay like that forever. Can't close it unless I restart my computer.

I've tried re-downloading the game, verifying the cache, using compatibility mode, nothing worked.
