After finish TWAU the 3rd times, I've this isanely idea !
To be honest, there is only 1 character is this game can confirmed Lily was dead: her sister. But she never had the chance to do that (Crane toss the "unknown" body to the Wishing Well)
The medal Bigby/Snow gave to Holly, we do not know that is a symbol of her family, or all the trolls, or a souvenir from Holly.
For Crane, I admit Lily have a deal to hook up with him. But for Crane, I think he do not care who he will hook with, as long as his "partner" glamour as Snow, It will be fine for him ! Beside, I think If Crane know his "partner" was a troll, he will not accept that. After all, Crane is a human, and Lily is a troll.
I think If it's true, the Nerissa/Faith thing will be more interesting, one more reason we need TTG bring to us TWAU ss2 ASAP, not Batman or TWD or whatever ...

Well, Holly doesn't have one of the broaches, so I think its safe to assume the one they found on Lily meant it was the real Lily.
But It can't denied that my theory were wrong right ???
