Worst Character in Season 2??

  • Don't you see how many people killed Kenny and stayed with Jane? In episode 4, Luke and Kenny had less development and she was like 1 hour around and even in episode 5, she clearly was around almost in the whole episode.

She got a lot of screentime in episode 4 and 5 when she wasn't supposed to How is this even a valid argument to you? lmao. It's n

  • If this is a choice with season 2 exclusive characters then would say Sarah. So much wasted potential for her. Otherwise Kenny in general but that is the case since season 1 so.

  • Troy. The guy was creepy as fuck at the beggining of ep. 3 and then just was a piece of shit every chance he got. I was hoping for anything redeeming about the guy, but there is not much. Rude dude with an attitude.

  • Jane was the worst for me

  • This still isn't proving how she "got screen time when she wasn't supposed to"

And an hour? Please, compared to all the screen time Kenny got throughout the entire season? She was a new character, of course you'd expect her to get more screen time throughout the next episodes.

And Kenny and Luke having less development? Kenny is one of the most established characters in the game, in fact, he developed the most in episode 4 following the death of Sarita. So that's invalid. And Luke developed too. We learned that the more Luke bottles things up, he's more prone to doing risky things or things that he wouldn't normally do. For example, leaving Sarah at the trailer park (if you leave her, he says that they didn't have a choice, but later regrets having done it), and having sex with Jane.

she clearly was around almost in the whole episode

No shit? So was Bonnie and Mike, Rebecca, Kenny, and just about every other character with the exception of Sarah and Sarita.

  • For all we know, Molly could have developed into something completely opposite as Jane.

We just don't know what Molly would have turned out like, so I think it's a far fetch to say she would have turned out like Jane.

But Jane is still Molly several years into the apocalypse, just a version of Molly that has seen more shit than she could take and has become an unemotional hag.

Did she not tell the group about the walker guts? Did she not threaten Arvo on the observation deck so he didn't come after the group? Did she not give Clementine a nail file for survival needs? Did she not come back for Clementine in Episode 5? Did she not go to great lengths to show Clementine how dangerous Kenny can be? Did she not take Clementine and a new born baby, who wasn't even her problem, under her wing and to Howe's to live safely there? Did she not let the family of 3 inside of Howe's if you fail to make a decision on whether they can stay or not?

I mean, just because Jane doesn't show an interest in being in a group to survive, doesn't mean she doesn't care about anyone else.

True. She's just an unlikable molly who only cares about herself.

I think following the group on foot is poorly written. I'm saying this because Howes seemed pretty far, and him catching up to them within a day without any transport whatsoever is just bizarre.

I'd go ahead and say he found some sort of transportation at least. I remember seeing someone do the math and "how to" about Luke getting from the lodge to Howe's, they explained that he must have used a car for most of the way if he had traveled that distance in two days. But he did go without supplies and sleep to get to them.

On paper, yes. But it's not very interesting watching it play out because you know exactly what that character is going to do, it just bores me to no end.

Well, if you leave Sarah in the trailer park, he says that there was nothing they could do to save her (which is wrong). And like he said himself, he didn't believe that he was the first person on the roof. I mean, I didn't expect that from goody goody Luke, y'know? And having sex with Jane at extremely poor timing? Didn't expect that either. Also, I know Luke's character holds strong morality, but I really thought he would have agreed to killing Carver, but he didn't. I didn't know he'd take it to that extent either.

  • Well, they weren't lmao. They were silent the entire time.

  • It's like saying the girl attacked by walkers at the beginning of Long Road Ahead was the worst character in S1.

Well, she was the worst at surviving.

    ayyyoooooo

I don't really think you can count Johnny since he wasn't in the game long enough to be a good or bad character. It's like saying the girl attacked by walkers at the beginning of Long Road Ahead was the worst character in S1.

  • Oh my fucking god, you don't know how much I cringed when he asked Sarah and Clementine if "everything came out alright" like wtf???? whAT??? WHY WOULD YOU ASK THAT

Sarita. She was just there to die and have Kenny repeat his story arc from Season 1.

Okay, so according to you, character development = stupidity. Got'cha.

Bonnie, Mike and Rebecca weren't at the end.

That doesn't change the fact that they developed in Episode 4. What you're saying is redundant.

  • Totally forgot about her and you did an accurate summary of her role in season 2.

  • Nick, because he was just too similar to Ben.

He also became derterminant from Ep 2 onwards, so to avoid any continuity problems they just made him say absolutely nothing in Ep 3 or 4.

So all of this character development, screen time and relationships with other characters such as Luke and Pete in Ep 1 & 2 was completely thrown out of the window. That time could have gone to Carlos or someone. Not Ben 2.0!

  • Basically everybody

  • Every character in which you can not remember their name by the end of your first play through are likely bad characters, or were just never given any time to develop. That being said Season 2 has way too many to really pick one as worse than the others, as there were so many, some of which getting only a few seconds of screen time.

When it comes to major characters, I would have to say Nick. He felt like such an unimportant character who had no real role in the story. At least Sarita, Troy and others had some role to play, Troy being a henchman and Sarita being a Lover for one of the more major characters. Nick, well he just didn't serve a purpose, outside of really just being there. He was a "red" shirt.. if you know what I mean.
