Do you have a backlog of games?
I just want to ask, do you have some games on your list that you've always wanted but never got around to buy? Maybe you'd like to tell me why, Was it another game that took over all your time? Did you lose interest?
Maybe you would even like to list off a few that you missed. Please, sound off in the comments.
- Most of these would be for PS4. I have not bought them because I was saving up for one. Or, I have yet to finish some of these. Here we go...
In no particular order: Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Alien Isolation, Journey\Flower\flOw, Dead Rising 2, Saints Row 4, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, Heavy Rain\Beyond Two Souls, Metal Gear Solid V, Until Dawn, Just Cause 3, The Magic Circle, The Beginner's Guide, Persona 4, and Persona Q. Yikes. "Good luck with that, me."

Destiny. I had wanted that game for months, watched tons of YouTube videos about it, Twitch streams and all that jazz. When I got around to getting an Xbox One I just lost interest, no idea why. I might get it one day but yeah...
Definitely. I bought Persona Q, but the last time I played it was like over a year ago. I think about it occasionally, but I always forget I own it. Speaking of games I forget I own...I bought another copy of Okami, but I just found out I already had a copy that I bought years ago.
I have a crap ton of backlog including countless numbers of 3ds games and I still haven't gotten around to buying persona 4 Dancing All Night and Danganronpa Another Episode. Not to mention I've been meaning to buy Mad Max on Xbox one for the longest time and still have yet to buy Saints Row 4 and I have been meaning to do that for like a year now and I still haven't finished Fallout 4 or all of Sunset Overdrive. I swear I do this all the time I buy a game and then I either never play it or I do play it, but I quit in the middle because I get distracted with something else.
The Witcher 2. Heard everyone saying how great it is, so I bought it, played few hours, but just couldn't get into it and eventually lost interest. So now it's just collecting digital dust in my Steam library. I'm planning to return to it someday, but I'm telling myself that for almost a year, so idk.
Kinda. I have a few games I d/l when I had a paid Xbox live subscription but most of them are just idling. I may eventually get to them, but maybe I've grown apathetic toward older games. Shit I was a big MGS fan back in the day and recently purchased the HD collection and the Phantom Pain and outside of playing Sons of Liberty, I have not been too excited to play the rest of the series. I'm just in a down period for now.
Persona Q, Fantasy Life and especially Titanfall for me.
I've always been thinking of getting games like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty cause my friends keep telling me I should try those out but never got around to those too many games I was looking forward to came out xD
Call of duty is dookie and way late to the party. Should Go with gta V great game with some fun multi player online carnage and not to shabby single player.
It is, it truly is a great game. First one toif ya got a pc
Phantom pain is just that beautifully painful a real let down from its previous masterpieces shame.
Reboot (PS1), 007 Blood Stone, 007 Goldeneye and TWINE (N64), Super Mario 64, Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy 2, SSB Brawl, Fallout 4, Ratchet and Clank, GTAV (PS4), Star Wars Battlefront games, Until Dawn, J Victory Versus, Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit/Raging Blast 1 & 2/Ultimate Tenkaichi, Kingdom Hearts games, and much more I can't think of.
All cuz of money/unable to find them.
Ok, wow. I'm so glad some people actually responded to this thread! It's sad that the world of video games is full of great stuff, but we can't play them all... And to think, this year we have some pretty good games to come and take over our list of backlogs... sigh I think it will be a great year though!
EDIT: I have updated the main post with MY backlog. So many things, so little money.
Batman Arkham Knight and the Evil Within.
I rented the first one and thought it was decent. Want to play the second one, but it has a pretty polarized reception, so I might be wasting my money.
Xenoblade Chronicles and A Link Between Worlds.
The first because I have just never gotten around to it sadly, and the second because I don't own a 3DS.
Beyond: Two Souls
I was so hyped for this, but the reviews and opinions of actual gamers (not paid ones I mean) weren't all that positive, so I never got around to buying it and honestly don't plan to anymore.
I had the same experience with both that and Murdered: Soul Suspect. Looked into both and only Murdered held my interest. Probably better off not playing Beyond and skipping off to another cinematic experience.
tales from the borderlands and Alien Isolation
Worse. I went on a shopping spree on Steam and bought a bunch of games, and now I'm having a hard time getting around to them all.
life is strange it seemed like a good game but the reviews on here and elsewhere put me off the ps4 version
Ah, I can relate. Have you heard of a company called Humble Bundle? They do a bunch of themed bundles every month and weekly ones every 2 weeks(?) It's a "pay what you want" thing for charity, and the game selection they do is pretty good. Most of which are available for Steam. I've bought quite a few of their bundles and various things on their store, and now I have over 102 games on Steam. Luckily most of them are not fully story-based, so a lot of them are multiplayer or simple level-based games which I don't mind not finishing.
Actually, you should try it. Many of the people are hating it on this forum because it is stealing Telltale's glory, but it is a pretty good purchase. At least buy the first episode. I was hesitant with this series at first, but it turned out ok.
Although I do agree that some of the stuff is really over exaggerated stereotypes, and some things are flawed.
Two games I always wanted to play were L.A Noire and Bully, but by the time I figured out that they were games, there were a bunch of other games coming out, and I was too distracted to play them.
Every exlusive game on ps3 and ps4
mostly want to play inFamous,The Last of Us and special Remastered version, Desteny, Killzone.
Killzone I play on ps3 before it had broken but Killzone Shadow Fall I must play.!
Yeah I'm in the same boat. I have 127. Only finished around 20... sigh...
Batman Arkham Orgins...only played about an hour or so...then i stopped. Not sure why. And now its just sitting there on my steam library...doing nothing.
i think theres a free trial of the first episode on ps4 ill have a look later
l.a noire was a great game but i never bothered looking for the collectibles even with the strategy guide bully was pretty good but never finished because i sold my ps2
same but mine is sitting on my shelf doing nothing but collect dust
good downloadable game one of my favs 2015
I dropped it too, the game just felt lifeless and boring to me, doubt I'm every gonna finish it.
Pokemon White, Fable Anniversary, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
